"Yes, exactly. Now keep grinding until it's a all a powder."

Briar kept the rock between her paw pads, pressing and rolling it around in he stone bowl that Marigold was dutifully showing her how to use. There was a collection of various herbs in there - some dandelion root, some marigold petals, a bit of lavender... There might have even been more than that. She'd lost track of Marigold as the antlered fox was going back and forth out of the den collecting bits of the dried herbs and adding them to the bowl. It took some practice to get the hang of how to use this mortar and pestle, but eventually it started to make sense - though she did end up having to hook her feline claws around the edge of the stone to keep it steady.

"How long do I have to do this for?" she questioned as she continued to grind down the herbs, her paw and ankle starting to get sore after a while. It seemed like every time she checked she found a new piece that she had somehow missed.

The fox rolled her eyes after she made sure Briar wasn't looking. As dedicated as she was to the young woman, her impatience was a constant pain in her side. "A bit longer, keep going."
