Chimera had been working incredibly hard as of late. He had dug an expansive den, built a bridge, and hunted his tail off with Viper. The physical exertion was beginning to take a toll on the boy's muscles. Though he wasn't one to laze about and take time off, in the long run it would be better to do so than to overexert himself and cause permanent damage. And so, with a little prompting from his sister, Chimera decided that it was time to take a day off. Rather than do so alone... he sent Meg off to collect Viper. She deserved a break too. Meeting the woman at the edge of Ashen lands, the giant brute was silent as ever though he greeted her with a faint grin. He had no supplies with him this time. One might still think they were going hunting, but that wasn't his plan at all. No, they were going to do something completely different. From land to land they went, walking in silence. Winter gripped the land but today was surprisingly tepid. There was no icy breeze. It wasn't snowing. The snow underfoot was cold, but they would soon be delivered from even that. Chimera led Viper to the hot springs. He had been able to see the steam in the distance and it was even more evident as they arrived at their destination. Without a word of explanation, Chi chose a sulfur scented pool and cautiously stepped within. The water was hot, but not unbearably so. The young man moved into the water up to his neck and sat, leaning against the stone side. His single working eye rested on Viper, wondering if she would join him or decide otherwise. "Speech"

Viper was out doing her usual things, training and uh, more training. The girl had never had an issue sleeping at night so training all the time never bothered her. Her body was used to her work outs and patrols now, and she did most everything physical with ease. Only a few seasons ago did Hattori find her close to starving and building herself up. When Chimera’s mastiff approached her, she smiled. Following the dog to meet Chimera half way from his island to where she she was. They would leave without supplies which, she didn’t really think about. They could do an old fashioned hunt or they had built traps together before without supplies. When they came to the springs Viper would observe their surroundings, waiting to see what Chimera had planned. Only when he entered the hot pool of water would she realize that they weren’t here for a hunt. She looked down at him for a short moment, just trying to gather her thoughts as their tasks had changed from the norm, or rather not having a task at all today. She wouldn’t linger on it, instead taking her own advice to listen to her body instead of her mind. She went to gently step in to the pool, but it wasn’t as easy as Chimera had done. He was in fact a great deal larger than her not that she cared to notice in that moment or ever for that matter. The pool of spring water waved around her body as she slipped in, her legs swam over to Chimera until she could get a hold of him, or at least try to. Her chest would be pushed up against him if he allowed as she settled, finding her back paws footing on the stone beneath. She felt so close to him, her nose pointed up toward his face with a smile. The warmth of the springs instantly began to ease the tightness in the man's muscles, but that tightness returned the moment that Viper pressed herself against him. Yes, she was much smaller than him but he hadn't thought she'd choose the same spring as him. There were more shallow ones, so why didn't she make it easy on herself? Mismatched eyes opened wide as she looked up at him. Chimera curled his chin downwards to look at her as well, peering into the fae's mint colored eyes. This was... strange. Without seeming to realize what he was doing, Chimera reached out one thick foreleg and wrapped it around Vipers back, holding her against him so that she one, didn't float away, and two, didn't have to paddle to stay in place. Looking at her was awkward. For Chimera, eye contact meant challenge. Fighting. Biting. Killing. This wasn't any of that. This was softer, warmer, confusing. He closed his eyes and rested his head back against the edge of the pool, deciding that not looking at her would be easier. There would most likely be no relaxing now. Having Vipers body resting against his own was tightening things in his lower regions. He knew what that meant, but he wasn't quite ready to give into his hormonal urges. They barely knew one another. They'd never spoken a word. Yet here she was, arousing him in a damn pool while he was supposed to be relaxing. Damn woman... "Speech"

Chimera would pull Viper into him, which she wouldn’t fight. She too was more accustomed to a fighting nature and had no loving contact since she left her mother at a season of age. She didn’t notice Chimera tense up in her own commotion, but she felt herself relax from her own. She had to say she liked what being close to him made her feel, there was no denying. But she had nothing to relate it to, not even her own parents. She barely remembered anything from before she was on her own, other than her believing her life was happy and beautiful then. She only experienced the touch of battle, so this was new even in her older age as it was to Chimera in his younger age. She went to rest her cheek on his shoulder, now facing away from his own face. Her legs gently shuffled under her as she stood two legged with the support of him. She would be unfazed as her leg curled up and gentle brushed toward the bulge of his genital region. Relaxation had almost taken hold as Viper placed her chin against his chest. Chi breathed a sigh of relief as his head rested back against the stone edge. Then she went and fucked it all up. Viper's paw grazed his already straining groin almost made the black and white wolf yelp in surprise. He tamped it down to an alarmed squeak and, without even thinking about it, pushed the woman away, accidentally dunking her under the water in the process. In an instant, Chimera was out of the springs and rushing off away from the springs. Bloody hell... you couldn't just step on a mans dick like that! The sexual urges of Chimera's coming of age were already knocking at his door but this send them to pounding it down with a battering ram. Rather than fumble about and take Viper then and there, Chimera chose to retreat and wait until he'd regained control of... himself. Meg and Gem were given the order to stay with Viper and the dogs canted their heads in question as they watched their master rush off. Moving to the pool, Meg extended one big paw down to the woman to help her from the pool. "Are you alright?" The pair didn't speak when around their master simply because he didn't like it, but they were definitely quite capable. "Speech"

Viper pulled her head back in a quirk as Chimera let out a sharp yelp, not realizing at all what she had done. She would be even more surprised as Chimera shoved her away, pushing her under the water, and fleeing into the distance. She thrashed around in the water a moment, finding her balance again before making her way over to the edge of the pool. Her front paws preparing to pull herself out, Meg’s paw reached down to help her. She accepted both the dog’s help to get herself out of the pool, "I’m fine." She replied with a bit of snap and disappointment, not towards them of course. She looked toward where Chimera had fled the scene and pondered if she should even wait for him to come back or not.
