Viper had waited long, or perhaps not so long before heading back to Ashen. She wasn’t aware what had happened to Chimera, if it was something she did or what was a little irrelevant to her now. He was obviously in a hurry while he nearly tried to drown her. She didn’t dwell on it, but it was pretty annoying. It seemed he had a plan of taking a break today, and Viper obliviously ruined it. The mastiffs accompanied her back home, she wasn’t sure if they went back to fetch Chimera or if they were still lingering around her. She didn’t care either way. She stood over the colorful pool of the shrine, staring down at her rippling reflection. For a moment as she looked at herself she wondered if she was good enough for him. Where the thought came from she didn’t understand, but she was thinking back to when she laid her head on his shoulder, and she was craving that. She shook her head, trying to remove the intrusive thought from her mind. It was pretty confusing to wonder. Walk "Talk" Think

The entire way back to Ashen lands, Chimera brooded. He'd never been one to let emotions take hold. Hell, he'd never been one to have emotions other than anger. So what was this garbage and why was he so conflicted inside? He'd heard the phrase, "Any port in a storm," but that didn't seem to ring true for him. He'd tried a random 'port' and he'd hated it. The mouthy woman wasn't what he wanted. He thought he had just wanted to stick his dick in something, but that didn't seem to be the case. Well, it was partly the case, but it wasn't just something that he wanted to stick it in. It was someone. What a mess. Grumbling the whole way back, it seemed like it took ages. While he walked, he tried to decide what to do. Surely Viper hated him after the way he'd pushed her off and left her there after dragging her all the way to a different land. Fucking hell... He would have been better off just going on his own but he'd been trying to be nice. Then he would have had his hunting partner and things would have been normal. Now he was in this mess and knowing women, (which he didn't) Viper would probably hate him and never want to see him again. She was probably telling all of her friends bad things about him. That was what females did, right? All of his negative thoughts went out the window the moment that he saw her. Chimera stopped in his tracks, eyes narrowing as he stared at Viper while she looked into the water. He could turn around now and save himself the trouble. What if they were paired up to hunt together again? They wouldn't be able to work as well with this giant rift between them. Again, he thought about the mouthy woman. What if he was paired up with someone like that? Ugh. Mismatched ears tipped back and his brow furrowed even further. He had seen Vipers face when he'd been with the other woman. Dammit... Moving forward, Chimera stopped beside the charcoal and russet fae. Again his ears flicked back and he refused to look at her as he spoke. Yes... he spoke. "I'm sorry..." His voice was a low, soft growl. He meant what he said, but it was difficult to say it aloud. She was deserving of his words, however. If anyone was, she was. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

She was lost in her thoughts but it seemed Chimera would be pegging her for the average girl. Viper wasn’t in the slightest. Viper barely classified herself as a girl at all, not that she saw herself as a man. Her gender identity was just not something she really put a lot of thought into. It didn’t seem important to her. She knew she was a woman, but she surely didn’t act like it. She was only a little surprised as Chimera came beside her, turning her head to face him. He apologized, and while his voice was also a bit of a shock, given they had yet to actually speak to each other, she didn’t have the same emotions along the lines of using your voice as Chimera did. Viper simply believed her voice would bring her nothing but trouble. And it was what made her stay silent for so long. There was never a need for her to speak out, so she stayed quiet in attempt to not mess up her groove with Chimera. Viper’s maw opened only slightly as if she was about to say something. But she stopped and gave him a light smile instead. She wasn’t really offended that he had left or dunked her under the water, she was just more shocked when it happened and confused as to why he ran off. She wasn’t the brightest but at least she wasn’t resentful, her parents didn’t count. She wouldn’t be aware of what he had done in his time away from her, but she would have been oblivious either way. She took a couple steps back from the shrine, looking up to Chimera still with a smile and a slow wag of her tail. She wasn’t sure what else they could do on their day off, or if Chimera even had anything in mind. She looked behind her like a walk would be nice, it would be better than just sitting here staring at each other. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

.Chimera was more than surprised when the tiny woman smiled up at him. He was grateful that she didn't try to bite him or something like that. He'd heard of other women doing that to their ma.. uh... to other males. His only basis of comparison was Siren and Dalila. Siren was timid and Dalila was an obedient slave. Viper was neither of those things. If she didn't bite him though, he was one up on his mental game. Viper motioned with a pull of her head in the offer of a walk. He could have stood there staring at her while he continued to try and make sense of females and how he knew nothing about them. A walk would do just fine. He could think and walk. The charcoal and russet fae had the giant brute utterly bewildered. Chimera was always calm, cool and collected. Today he was far from that. His mind was full of grenades. Every once in a while a new thought made his mind explode. He was driving himself crazy. She was driving him crazy. In the end, Chi decided what he needed to do. He needed to just do it and get her off of his mind so he could function again. Chimera adjusted their course, leading Viper far away from the shrine and prying eyes. He needed privacy for this. There was no way that he was putting on a show for others. Once he believed that they'd found enough seclusion, Chimera stopped the small fae with one paw. He wanted to feel her against him again. He needed to feel her. He needed to know if it had just been the heat of the moment or if it was Viper herself that was affecting him. He sat. Snaking his leg around her, Chimera pulled the woman close, pressing their chests together similar to the way they'd been in the hot spring. Then he waited. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Viper would let Chimera lead but it seemed like they were still in step with each other as they had always been, only on a different wave length while they were always out hunting and now they were taking a leisurely stroll through the pack. She wouldn’t really notice that Chimera was taking her somewhere more private, somewhere they wouldn’t have any wandering eyes creeping on them. Honestly, she wouldn’t mind though. She wouldn’t understand Chimera’s intentions either though for taking them elsewhere. Viper looked down to Chimera’s paw as it reached up and stopped her, her gaze moving to his face wondering what he had in mind. She wasn’t sure really what to do as he reached out to her again and pulled her in gently. She only watched his limbs as he did so and scooted a little closer in to him like it was what he was asking, and it was what her body told her to do. Their chests touched and she felt so close to him that she could feel his heart beating against hers, but it was still foreign territory to her, and she didn’t know what to expect next. She was only playing by ear and doing what came naturally to her, not something she had ever experienced throughout her whole life. She placed her head on his shoulder, her muzzle laying into his chest and she started to nibble at the borderline of his coloring there in the middle, just what came to mind as they shared the warmth of each others’s bodies. Viper gave him a puzzled look when he stopped her but she went along willingly with his actions. Maybe that was what he liked about her. She was so easy going that she went along with whatever his wishes were. He didn't mind that one bit. I'd more women were that agreeable, perhaps he'd dislike them less. The pair sat there and Chi just lived in the moment, feeling what needed to be felt. Discovering this and that. He liked having her against him. Already he liked this more than he had that other random woman. It seemed that it was Viper herself that made him feel this way. Fascinating and frustrating all at once. Suddenly the woman began to gently nibble the thicker fur of his chest and Chimera involuntarily released a low growl of pleasure. Tucking his chin a bit, the tri- toned young man pulled his tongue across the top of Vipers head. He tentatively nibbled behind one ear, careful not to catch her with his teeth. The feelings of pressure and other things in his groin were returning. Did she have any idea what she was doing to him? "Chimera" -- "Viper"

She allowed Chimera to groom her as he pleased, but eventually she rose her nose, dragging it upwards along his chest not necessarily on purpose. She had a flash back of her mother and father, not that they were ever intimate like this in front of her, but the subtle kisses she placed beside his maw brought back the memory of what it was like to be loved. But this was a different kind, a whole new experience that she enjoyed rather than being a defiant pup not wanted to cuddle or be groomed, thinking she was a big girl. But she missed the days where her parents and brother were all a family, and the cold nights she spent by herself made her linger on the thought of them and how they kept her safe and warm in those days. What had she missed throughout her life? Would she have experienced this sooner if she stayed back and took care of Aranea instead of running away? It was weird to think she wouldn’t have ended up the way she had. She probably wouldn’t be in any state for Chimera to find interest in her the way he was now. Not that she was thinking that deep into it. Her stomach fluttered like butterflies, she wanted to be closer to him but didn’t know how. Was it Chimera specifically that made her feel this way? She couldn’t be sure and she didn’t know if she ever would be. All she knew was that what they were doing now was like connecting pieces that she had lost and never knew what they were to begin with. Everything felt right, and everything felt like it was supposed to be this way. Viper leaned back, her paws in a loose hold around Chimera’s lower chest between his legs while he had fully supported her with his own legs. She wanted to lay down, she wanted him to be on top of her, and she wanted to know what would happen next. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

New feelings and sensations rose within the young wolf with every drag of Vipers tongue and pull of her teeth as she continued to groom him. He could get used to this. Would it be so bad to spend more time with Viper doing things like this rather than hunting? She seemed pleased. He was pleased. Win, win, right? Viper pulled back and he looked down at her. The moment that her tongue touched his maw, the brutes tail curled above his spine in a show of dominance. Something about the action made him feel powerful. In control. It was like she was telling him that he was the man and she was his thankfull woman. Chimera liked it immensely. His ego loved it. Was it enough though? Tension and fire speared through Chi's lower bits and he growled low before finding his paws. This time... this time he would get what he wanted. He'd get what he needed. Coming around behind Viper, the giant brute easily lifted her to her paws. He covered her with his body, stooping a little because she was so short. He was also limited to hooking one hip rather than two since he needed the other on the ground to brave himself. Feeling feral and primal, Chimera held onto Vipers scruff with his teeth as he let nature take its course. And this time, he was determined to be satisfied. -fade again- "Chimera" -- "Viper"

"Mature warning!" She was more than willing to let Chimera do as he willed, which was very unlike Viper, especially to those who knew her generally. She had a lot more fight and aggression in her than she was gentle or submissive, but her in Chimera’s arms was making her feel that different, amazing way and it changed her more aggressive attitude in the moment. Maybe it was a part of Aranea in her, to some kind of extent. More like to craving to be loved and what she had lost in her childhood. Chimera was gentle as he was rough, the two of them moved together in a dance while Chimera was in lead and Viper caved under him. Perhaps all the time they had spent together and the silence they shared working only through non-verbal communication up until now, though Viper was still quiet. She yelped as the massive brute began, a surge of pain ran through her briefly as she had never done this before. But in only a few movements she found pleasure in what Chimera was doing to her. She nearly melted under him, her quiet grunts through him giving him clarification that she was in fact enjoying herself too. She wasn’t sure what it would be like if it wasn’t Chimera, but she knew what he was doing was right. -Fade- "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Instinct had made him bite a little harder when the woman beneath him yelped and struggled a bit. A low growl sounded in his throat. A warning of sorts. She was his for now and there was no escaping that. Once she'd acclimated, things had gone more smoothly. And yes, he'd followed through this time. The aftermath resulted in the pair of them laying on the ground in the snow. Chimera was sprawled out on his side, eyes closed though he was very much awake. He felt accomplished and more relaxed than he could ever remember feeling. Maybe he needed to take Viper more often. She seemed to like it once she'd settled down so maybe she'd welcome a repeat performance. It had been Viper. He had wanted to mate with her, not that other woman. It was an interesting thing to learn. There was something there. He wouldn't deny that no matter how much he wanted to. Ah, and she hadn't said a word. That made things even better. Her grunts and growls were natural. Feral. Those, he could appreciate. He welcomed her sounds. They let him know that he was doing a good job. The prone brute released a deep sigh, his tail thumping once in the snow. If he didn't get up he would soon fall asleep. Would that really be so bad though? Maybe Viper would invite him back to her den for a repeat performance. He surely couldn't take her back to his. Not with Siren and Dalila there. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Viper relaxed as he did, her body loosely beside him as he found relief. She was still not aware of what led him to want to do this, or what he had done just prior to this time they shared right now. And her mind was spinning over exactly what they had just done. This was sex, this was what Jupiter told her about. This is what he had wanted to do with her originally before she messed everything up. How could she be so stupid? Her thoughts of Jupiter soured her own aftermath. It wasn't necessarily that this could have been her and Jupiter, but more like he could have done this and she would have done fine at the task. Chimera seemed to like it. And it made her resent Jupiter more thinking that he didn't want her. Not that she wanted to be with him anymore. The feelings she once had and the feelings she had now were becoming clear, even if not completely yet. Chimera would stir in preparation to leave, she rose to a laying up position beside him. "Chimera." Her voice addressed him like she had many things to say, but she wouldn't. Instead, her gaze stayed up at his massive form, like she was trying to tell him what was on her mind without actually telling him. But that was impossible. He couldn't possibly understand all the things running through her head from her past. Her insecurities she didn't let anyone know, and she didn't want him to know either. She didn't want to say anything to upset him, she didn't want him to not want her like they had just done. Her head laid back down to the cold surface of the shuffled snow they had pounded. Unfortunately she didn't have a den for him to come back to, but that wasn't really on her mind. It appeared she wasn't the type that wanted to be in Chimera's embrace the whole night. If he wanted to bone and leave that was fine with her too, not that she preferred it. She loved the feeling of his body against hers, in the sexual act or not. It filled her with something that felt lost when she discovered it. She wasn't a little prissy girl though, and she wouldn't go home crying because he didn't give her a kiss goodnight. After a while Chimera decided that he couldn't laze around all day. Yes, he felt relaxed, but that didn't mean that he could just stop being active. Things needed to be done. Prey needed to be killed. He needed to make sure that Siren was okay. Surely Viper had things to do as well. He wasn't sure what those things were, but surely there was something. As the black and white brute rolled to stand upon his paws, his name on Viper's lips startled him. She wasn't a mute. Her pleasured sounds had proven that. He'd never heard her utter a single word before. Ears perked and he curled his neck to look at her questioningly. If she bothered to speak, it must have been something important. And yet she said nothing else. Instead, she lay her head back on the snow in an almost defeated manner. Chimera arched one brow and huffed lightly. He wasn't going to go fishing for some explanation. That wasn't how he worked. If that was what she was after, she'd never get it. There were no bad feelings within him as he left her there in the snow. She would go back to wherever she slept and he would go back to his island. Perhaps tomorrow they would hunt again. Winter showed no signs of ending and it would be wise to continue to fill the food stores. It didn't matter how large their prey was, a pack could always use more. Over the bridge he went, back to his island home. As he moved towards the spacious den that he shared with Siren and her slave, he couldn't shake thoughts of Viper and how he wouldn't mind sharing a den with her too. "Chimera" -- "Viper"
