Aranea's family had taken their leave of The Hallows, and she had her moment with Ulric about the ultimatum that Allegro had given her. Now that she had the idea that Ulric no longer wanted to continue their relationship, she was ready to talk to Resin. She still had a few things to do before even preparing to leave. But Allegro had asked her to wait until the ice age had subsided. It wasn't an easy trip to make in the surprising extended winter when you were alone. She couldn't disagree, as much as she wanted to leave the castle to be away from Ulric. Seeing or being around him everyday, knowing he was somewhere in the castle, just a short walk don the hall, it was heartbreaking for her. She went to Resin's wing of the castle, it was still pretty early in the morning. She search down the hall in the abundance of her kid's rooms. She would only stop when she found her, and give out a quiet bark to announce her presence. |
