Not long ago a posse of coyotes had made an attempt on some of his sheep and as his father was bitterly fond of railing, if they didn't get all of the bastards they'd be back next year after a bitch or two had shat out more little thieves. While Tyrian was tired of hearing about the scourge that was Coyote he had to admit his father was right. They all needed to be dealt with. So, his mind made up, Tyrian now roved the Knolls in search of some sign of where the coyotes might be holed up. He had some suspicions that they denned not far from where they had attacked. It just made sense that they'd had a place to watch and scheme before that day. And Tyrian thought that if he could find it, even if they'd abandoned it, he could find them. "" |
