Got You Something. Not A Big Deal Or Anything.

The trek had been a long one in the deep, cold snow. There was something that he needed to get though. Or, something that Viper needed, anyway. Meg and Gem certainly were appreciative of the acquisition as well. The pair of mastiffs couldn't keep their eyes off of the giant, male mastiff. Chi had almost gotten Viper a female companion, but practicality made him choose a male. A set of breeding dogs wouldn't be a bad thing to have. Surely others of Ashen would want big, strong companions as well. Chimera moved back into Ashen lands, cutting across the territory to arrive at the den that he'd crafted for Viper. The trio of dogs were in tow and they seemed to be getting along rather well. That was fine and dandy as long as they were capable of carrying out the tasks assigned to them. "Viper," Chimera rumbled before sinking into the snowy sand outside of her den. He would give the woman her gift, but he was also looking forward to seeing her. He'd been gone a little under a week and there was an itch that he'd eventually need to scratch. For now, it would be pleasantries and gift giving. If she was home, anyway. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Viper had been out on one of her usual daily runs, running the shores of the island. It was what she did in her free time, mostly because sitting around and doing nothing wasn't her style. While Chimera was gone she had to admit she had been thinking about him often, watching the shores of his own island at night. Though she wasn't a fragile little girl in pieces because he wasn't around. But with all that, she felt a rush of excitement as she came around a lap towards her new den and Chimera was there moving inside. She slowed, making her way to meet him, her eyes looked to the dogs as she passed and she smiled gently to Gem and Meg, there was a third one but she hadn't put together that Chimera had went all the way to who knows where to get the dog for her. If anything she thought it was just another one for himself. She entered the den, maybe bumping into Chimera while she entered too quickly. She had expanded the den just a little wider while he was gone, as if to make room for him honestly. Not that she wouldn't actually tell him that. Well, not straight forward at least. She sat down in front of the doorway, giving him that same slight smile she gave his dog companions. Her paw rose to wrap around one of his front legs and in a motion to pull him in to her. But he had other things on his agenda other than hugs or affection or other things. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Chi didn't have to wait long for the small woman to arrive. He could visibly see her perk up as she noticed him. It... warmed him. He found himself cracking a small smile just as she did. It was all so strange to him, this attraction to the odd fae. There was something about her that just drew him in. Perhaps it was her silence. Perhaps it was their easy way together. When Viper took his leg and urged her inside, it didn't take much pressure for Chi to rise and slide into the den. His eye adjusted to the dark and he noticed the difference within. She'd done a bit of work on her own, expanding the width of the space. He liked that she'd taken the initiative and was making the den her own. Having seated himself on the pile of furs, Chi hooked one paw around Viper and pulled her against him. "I got you a dog. His name is Moccasin." He'd chosen the mastiff firstly because of its name, and secondly because it had been the largest available male. He needed to know that someone could protect her when he wasn't around and he'd told the dog as much on their way back. Moccasin had assured Chi that he would protect Viper. "Did you miss me?" Yeah, he could show a little vulnerability every once in a while. For some reason, he needed to know that she felt his absence. He'd felt hers, surely. He wasn't quite ready to admit that aloud, but he almost hoped that it showed simply so he wouldn't have to say it. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Her brow furrowed as he mentioned the third dog outside being hers, her gaze dropped from him to the floor of the den. It may have come across as her not liking the idea, but that was not her intent. She was more surprised Chimera had went out of his way, far far away to get her this dog. Moccasin, the name of a black snake. She then smiled to the thought, of course she didn't linger on any intense meaning behind the name of the mastiff, she had only hinted the name to herself. Her head pulled back as he spoke again, hopefully any doubt he could have had from her reaction would be forgotten as she came back with the gentle smile. Her front paws lifted up to carefully place themselves on his chest, she had to thank him somehow, didn't she? She slowly started to lean back, her claws clung into the fur of his neck and her paw pads caressed the curve of his shoulders as she attempted to fall gently on her back and pull him on top of her. Actions always spoke louder than words. Viper knew Chimera had a sense of superiority like herself, but it felt more right for him to take control of her. She had finally grabbed the reins after her life began with Chimera, and she could finally grow after the many years she only went on surviving and nothing else. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Any doubt that he had about her missing him melted away with the beaming smile she bestowed upon him. Surprisingly, she rose on her hind legs, placing her paws on his shoulders. Chi leaned in, hoping for a kiss or something, put she pulled him backwards. The giant brute went with her, forelegs splaying so that he didn't crush her beneath his bulk. A low, rumbling chuckle came from the man and he leaned in, claiming the woman's lips with his own. Yeah, he'd missed her. Today, Chimera was feeling particularly... soft. One huge paw went up to cup the back of the fae's head, keeping their kiss going. Again, a low growl sounded in his chest. She was [hubersmash] intoxicating; his odd little woman. Instantly, Chimera broke the kiss and pulled his head back, staring down at the prone fae beneath him. He'd shocked himself. His woman? Was she? Chi continued to stare down at Viper as his mind reeled. He was young and generally inexperienced in the art of women and relationships. He didn't need anyone, he thought. Part of him though, he needed Viper. She needed him too, he knew. She'd have frozen to death otherwise. "Viper," he began, his deep voice low. "You're my woman." He didn't ask her if she was okay with it. He simply told her. If she wanted to dispute it, Chi was very ready to fight her over it. Physically fight her to claim her. There was an intensity in his two toned gaze. He didn't want her to argue. He wanted her to accept it. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

Viper wasn't surprised as Chimera leaned in for his own demanded kiss, grabbing a hold of her in some kind of his own passionate way. But she couldn't deny the hint of butterflies in her stomach or the way he made her ego shine. She was just as inexperienced as him even at nearly triple his own age. She had never really found any interest in men, or women for that matter. She may have for Jupiter but she didn't understand it at the time. Chimera had simply made her in his own way. She was this way now because of him. Anything past the relationship of her parents and the relationship with her brother had been beyond her. And she was so young to even properly remember memories of happy days like that. She tried her own at kissing Chimera back in the same kinds of emotions he did to her. She wasn't bad at it, everything seemed to come naturally as she moved herself into him. Not that she could compare, but maybe it was a bit of Aranea's lustful side she inherited. She had never really thought herself as beautiful or ugly, but Chimera really did make her feel like she was a queen, the princess she had once lost as a young pup. But with all these confident emotions, she was also finding herself pulling back into the darker ones. What she had lost when Tyranis and Aranea abandoned her, what she had missed out on all these years. Though had she not been the way she was, she probably wouldn't have been here with Chimera. And if he had hinted to himself that she needed him like he needed her, there was no way he could understand the extent of it. As much as Viper didn't show it, even to herself, she was broken. There was so much that they both didn't know about each other. Things Viper had chose to bury and never dig up. When he pulled away, she too gently searched his face while his mind turned. When he spoke, she wasn't exactly sure what to think of it. Just the thought of you're mine had sent an unnatural surge of emotion through her. Viper wasn't emotional at all and everything since meeting Chimera and their building relationship was starting to overwhelm her. Though not in a bad way, and she was struggling internally with everything she was feeling. Still, it didn't show as she took a moment to sort through her own thoughts. "You are mine?" It wouldn't come out in the same context as Chimera had used on her. Clearly she was referring to Chimera being her man. And she didn't really have the kind of confidence that he had while demanding that she was his. He may have wanted her to agree, which she was. She couldn't disagree that what she had with Chimera was different than anything she had ever experienced. And she would accept this fate, only beside him instead of under him. Or at least, that was how she preferred, that they were partners opposed to some kind of slave. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

She was his whether she agreed to it or not. If he had to fight her for her freedom, Chimera would gladly do so. If it was up to him, which it was, no other man would ever touch Viper again. Ever the arrogant man though, the same wouldn't be said for himself. Though he respected Siren and respected Viper to an extent, women were still lesser creatures. They needed men to control them and steer them down the correct paths. As such, the same rules didn't apply to males as it did t females. If another brute touched Viper, he would rip their throat out. If he wished to touch another female, however... he was within his rights to do so.
With this in mind, when Viper questioned whether he was hers, a soft huff left the brutes speckled pink nose and he leaned forward to claim her lips in his once more. The lust within him was rising. It had been a long journey and he would take his reward for it. There was no denying that he felt affection for the small woman beneath him. If he didn't, he surely wouldn't be with her right now. He wouldn't have gone out of his way to make sure that she was safe and whole. He wouldn't have found a trusted companion that could keep her from killing herself. He cared... he just wasn't good at expressing that care. Perhaps it was because of the massive neglect in his life. Perhaps it was because of the fucked up relationship between his parents. Who knew?
With one thick foreleg, Chi pulled Viper too him, prompting her to roll over onto her stomach. He would then place himself above her, his teeth gently gripping the back of her neck. He was careful not to cut her with his odd, sharp teeth, but he applied enough pressure to let her know that she was under his power. Strong, thick legs locked around her hips and he pulled her roughly towards him, a snarl on his lips. This claiming would be unlike others. He was showing her that she belonged to him. This, right here, was right where she belonged.

Viper was much more submissive and go with the flow with Chimera, letting him take control of her was something that came naturally even with her own more aggressive and back handed attitude. And maybe that's how Chimera liked it. Viper had proven to herself though that she was capable of taking care of herself. Even if Chimera seemed to think otherwise. It wasn't like they ever sat down and had a talk about their childhoods or anything. Viper wouldn't deny Chimera as he turned her over, and she was almost expecting what was to come next. And in her own way she became excited to the thought. Chimera grabbed her by the scruff, feral as he liked it, and her own end pushed into him just to show him that she was into it as much as he was. Again the only noises from her would have been what he expected of her, quiet signs of her enjoyment as their relationship seemed to continue to flourish. -fade- Chimera's released teeth made the aftermath more relaxing and enjoyable for her, it always made Viper think back on their time together. Whether it was times like this or when they were hunting or in the springs together. Not that she would voice any of the memories that ran through her mind out loud to him. She took a moment catching her breath before rolling on her side with a content gaze towards Chimera. Purely out of instinct she rose her paw as if inviting him to lay down beside her. She wanted what they had the night Chimera shared his bed with her. "Chimera" -- "Viper"

The possessive feelings were still running rampant through Chimera. He had zero desire to be a father, but he wanted to fill Viper with his children just to prove how much she belonged to him. He wanted to carve his name into her. Collar her. Keep her. He wanted to consume her so that another man would never be able to look upon her again. The tri-colored brute forced himself to take a deep, shaky breath, his eyes closing. He forced himself to calm. He couldn't continue down that train of thought. Viper was his, but he needed to keep himself in line for Siren's sake. His sister was still the most important wolf in his life.
Still standing above the woman that now lay on the furs, Chimera sorted through the aggressive thoughts in his mind before forcing his gaze down to her. She had lifted her leg, beckoning him close. Even after being handled like she'd been, the woman wanted to lay with him. A low growl lodged in the man's throat and he gave his head a stern shake. His blood was still too warm. He couldn't give her what she wanted.
Without another word, Chimera turned and left the den. He left Viper laying there behind him. Chi needed some sort of release. Perhaps he'd find something to kill. First, he needed to check in on Siren. Make sure that she was home. Then he'd go and find something or someone to tear in to.

She saw little of Chimera's conflicted feelings and thoughts, and while she wasn't even aware of it herself, all she wanted was to lay there with him. When he would leave the den instead, she wouldn't stop him. Only her gaze would follow him out until she couldn't see him anymore. Her eyes lingered at the mouth of the den, her brow furrowed as her expression slowly turned into disappointment from not having his warm body beside her. She didn't know how to feel about it. About how she was feeling. She had never experienced these kinds of emotions before, Chimera unlocked some unknown side of her that only came naturally as she explored. She didn't get up from her position, only repositioned herself so she could curl in with her back against the wall of the den. Her chin found it's place on top of one of her paws as she started to force herself comfortable and out of her wandering thoughts. Her new companion joined her inside the den, his own expression looking for permission but Viper's eyes just stared at him. Moccasin gently padded inside the den himself and found his own comfortably in his new home. Viper wouldn't send him away, instead finding herself into some sort of sad, wicked dreams.
