Rudy was a wolf who slept in later into the day and stayed up throughout the night.  His patchy grey coat was of more use in the shadowy times of dusk and he was all for taking every advantage he could get.  There were still a few hours till he would be ready to hunt but Rudy had decided it was a good time to patrol.  

He hadn’t spent much time with Tika lately, at least not since their spar.  The young man acknowledged he couldn’t keep to himself and mope over his mom’s death when others also would be suffering.  The last time he’d been with Tika mom had still been alive and Rudy had been brimming with anger.  It would be good to spend some time with her and make sure she was well also.

Tika was family even if not by blood and so it had been her mom who had died also.  Rudy had to be there for her in case she needed it.  Rudy inhaled deeply then howled a call for Avantika to come to meet up with him.

Avantika heard Rudy's call not too far away and proceeded to go in the direction of the sound. She was grateful, despite how little she wanted to talk with other people nowadays. The last time she'd spent time with her brother had been back when Resin was still alive. They had sparred, both using their anger at the world against each other. It had helped some, at least as a distraction, but she didn't want to think that Rudy was still in that much anger and pain. He'd once been so cheerful and innocent. She was almost overwhelmed with a fierce desire to protect him. That meant she had to reach out, despite the depression and apathy she'd found herself in. She arrived, giving Rudy a weak smile. "Hey." "Speech"
