Somehow, Poet had moved forward in the spar, having defeated his sister. As he moved to the sparring field, blue and lavender eyes searched the crowd for her face. He flashed her a big grin before settling in place, turning to face his newest opponent. He was dark and red, and just about the same size. In his mind, the boy told himself it would be similar to fighting Shae, since they were also the same size.

Since Poetry got first move this time, he waited for the other boy to signal he was ready, then wasted no time. Claws dug into earth as he launched forward. His first move was similar to his sister's opening move - he charged forward hoping to catch the other boy by surprise and get him off balance. Poetry tucked his head and put one shoulder forward, aiming for Vulcan's chest to wedge between it and the ground to push him over.

"Speech" Vulcan defeated his brother cleanly and now he was more than ready to take on his next opponent, this time being a male close to her size. Blacks and grey coating his frame. He at this point didn't know if he should be nicer or not. But well he would react accordingly and when he was ready, the male started. Running toward him, and he almost got surprised and he quickly set his defenses. Poetry went to try slamming his shoulder against his own chest. But quickly he tried to turn to his left to have his own shoulder as the target instead of his chest, simultaneously he aimed to wrap both of his legs around Poetry's shoulder for now attempting to bite on the other's pup's scruff. Unfortunately for Poetry, the other boy wasn't caught by surprise. He turned his own body and presented his shoulder instead of his chest, which Poetry slammed full force into. It sent a jolt up the boy's spine and chattered his teeth, but he pressed on. Vulcan grabbed his shoulder and reached for his scruff, which put him in an awful position. A split second of thinking left him with no choice. He dug his back paws into the ground and pushed with all his might. He hoped Vulcan was off balance enough with grabbing at Poetry that some well placed force would be enough to push him down. Poetry's neck snaked down to snap at the other boy's chest, hoping to either catch some soft spots or at least make Vulcan let go of him.

"Speech" Fighting was something he started to like, not only here but in the past from seeing his father he wished to be as amazing as him, the Praetor's blood crossed through his veins, and as one he wasn't one to back away from something he wanted. Vulcan did his best to keep his grasp on Poetry's scruff, ears pinned and tail rose high for balance. Eyes narrowed as he did his best to stay his ground. His weight versus Poetry's force to get him off. He then aimed to push downwards, using his weight. Poetry tried to push upwards making this fight now a force contest, his weight against Poetry's attempts. He was attempting to have a firm bite, not enough to pierce the skin but still strong enough to not be easy to remove.
