Tamsyn stood across from her new opponent and unlike in her last fight this time it was a stranger, though they did have the distinctive signs of the Armada mixed into their scent. This was clearly someone that had joined after she left, but she offered Stjarna a small smile and a dip of her head none of the less. She truly had too much on her mind to even enjoy her fights or her previous win and unfortunately all she wanted to do was finish this fight so she could get back home and away from a certain wolf who was also in attendance.

She got into her usual defensive stance and allowed Stjarna to do the same, waiting until her opponent was ready before she rushed forward to get their fight started. They were a bit taller than her so it was pretty easy to aim the bone of her shoulder to try and slam it into their chest while reaching with open jaws toward the base of their neck near their right shoulder. She came out swinging while keeping her defenses in place - ears tucked back, lips pulled back to expose her teeth, shoulders rolled forward with her scruff bunched up around her neck, claws gripping at the earth to keep her stance stable and keep her from being pushed back.

Stjarna managed to claim victory from the girl. She'd done well and they said as much before retiring under the nearest shade tree to rest up. Summer was coming back with a vengeance and after the sun beating down plus the activity, Star was feeling particularly hot. Still, there wasn't much time to rest before the next round of matches was called. Stjarna made their way to the ring arriving to see their opponent was a Hallows wolf. Star dipped their head in greeting. Having not been with the Armada long and being stationed along the borders Star had yet to meet the wolves that formed their alliance. This tournament was proving a good opportunity to at least get familiar with faces.

Stjarna set their defenses and then the match began. As the woman sprinted forward Star slipped to their left, arcing their upper body in toward their opponent while trying to pivot their hind end back behind them. The maneuver brought them out of the way of her shoulder but her teeth still clipped the upper right side of Star's neck, cutting flesh and leaving light lacerations. As Star arced in they attempted to bite into the woman's side just behind her right elbow.

Tamsyn's shoulder missed its mark, but her teeth managed to catch the skin on Stjarna's neck as she reached for her opponent even as they pivoted and moved out of the way. She saw her fellow fighter reaching for her side, but with the momentum she already had carrying her forward she didn't have the time to twist out of the way fast enough so she winced as she felt Stjarna's teeth bite into her side, though perhaps not as deeply as they might have been able to if she hadn't been trying to pull away. It was still enough to be irritating as she moved though. Tamsyn attempted to keep her forward momentum going, taking advantage of her smaller lighter frame to move fast and dart at their hind right leg near their thigh, trying to make a glancing bite while trying to swing her hip hard into Stjarna's side. She wouldn't stick around though, trying to bounce away as soon as she made her attempt to hopefully keep herself from being at risk of being pinned.

Stjarna's fangs managed to clip the woman's side, cutting flesh but ultimately only leaving a glancing blow as she pushed forward and out of the Armada wolf's fangs before a solid grip could be established. Tamsyn was faster and as Star tried to pull their hind legs away from her and behind them they couldn't move fast enough. Tamsyn's fangs bit into Star's thigh leaving moderate lacerations and sending a sharp jolt of pain through their body. Star tried to focus on the fight at hand and flung their jaws wide, trying to catch Tamsyn's thigh before she could bounce away, seeking to intercept the hip bump.
