Things never got any easier huh?

Psalm was tucked safely in the family den, she and her siblings were quickly outgrowing the den with their father but she had no real desire to leave it just yet. With her sister now better as well her family was finally starting to feel whole again. Her mother didn't really factor into that, it wasn't that she didn't still have some kind of love for her mother but it wasn't as if she'd really been much of a factor in her life since she'd left early... Still, her life seemed to be finally stabilizing. Psalm fell into sleep, her paws running through the lands of Abaven as she raced after a rabbit, her jaws parting, the taste of the rabbit practically on her tongue as she rushed in for the kill and- the world shifted around her, a local she did not recognize suddenly replacing the familiar world and the rabbit simply dropping out of existence. Psalm stopped suddenly, her jaws snapping shut with an audible click and her head shooting up, ears perked and bright blues wide as her brain struggled to understand what had happened. "Speech" |

Aranea was finally free of everything that plagued her. The depression, the sleepless nights. Maybe even how much she felt like a failure. Because she had failed all of her children. She had failed Tyranis, Allegro, and Ulric. But while she was here, she didn't have to worry about that anymore. At least she felt like she never had to face them again. The only thing she missed, was Ulric.
It was noticeable when someone had joined her memory, no one else was here. It was only her. Sometimes it was nothing, like she didn't even exist. That was the most relief she could know. As she approached the girl slowly, she recognized her. Psalm. It had felt like an eternity since she had seen her. Her mind was also kept on other things besides her children in Abaven in the rest of her time alive. She didn't want them in her final moments. She supposed she had what she wanted when her time came, but Ulric hadn't confessed the love he once had for her, though her soul had truly left her body before she could find out.
She said nothing as she closed most the distance between them. Her face was sad as she halted and looked forward at her daughter. Did Psalm know of what happened to her? She doubted. How could she have known.
