"Speech" Izanami hasn't been into a fight on the whole tournament and she was nearly about to just leave, she didn't like the idea of wasting her time here sitting down, watching the other fights going through. She was an active female, never sitting around without a purpose. She was a shinobi, and no shinobi was trained to be still for this long, she didn't feel well without being useful. And therewith her rump into the soil, she felt like that. Until finally someone seemed to be her first real opponent as her supposed first one never engaged with her. She stood before the other dark-colored female, her silver eyes looked at her blankly as she placed her defenses. Ready to use her agility as she lacked the bulk and heavy power other wolves had. "I am ready."

Tamsyn began to wonder if perhaps the universe was just forcing her to remain and continue these fights despite how much the wanted to go home. The competitive side of her refused to throw the fight or bow out when it was her turn again, but her heart wasn't in it. It at least told her that she could still fight. Her skills were still there and with two wins under her belt in this tournament she felt more than enough accomplishment. But, another opponent was placed in front of her and prevented her from going home and getting away from he emotions that plagued her.

She appreciated that the other woman - Izanami she was told as they entered the ring - was at least straight forward and to the point, something that Tamsyn appreciated in this moment. They were exactly matched in build and very similar in height so she knew it would be an even fight. Now it all just came down to experience and luck. She gave the other dark coated woman a nod when she stated that she was ready, settling into her own defenses as well. Tamsyn darted forward and jumped to the right at the last second before her shoulder made contact with the woman, instead trying to fake out her opponent and lunge in to bite at Izanami's back leg instead.

"Speech" Izanami waited patiently as her eyes of melted silver rested into Tamsyn's figure, ready to react upon any motion of attack. She knew well about analyzing first before mindlessly attacking, always evaluating her opponent to come up with the best route of going through. And like that the fight started as Tamsyn rushed her way, making a fake motion of going for her shoulder, maybe to slam it, but she almost got tricked when she saw Tamsyn's jaws aim for her back leg instead. Quickly he aimed to arch her body with moving her back legs away but she wasn't quick enough as Tamsyn's fangs still pierced into the skin from her leg, simultaneously she aimed to try biting on Tamsyn's muzzle, hopping to do so from her leg with the intention of catching her opponent's jaws to hopefully shut them down with hers. Tamsyn bit at Izanami's leg, just catching it enough to scrape her teeth across skin and draw blood as the woman was twisting and pulling her leg out of the reach of her jaws. Her opponent twisted toward her face and a glance caught the sight of her open jaws reaching for her muzzle. Tamsyn quickly jerked her head to the side, turning her muzzle away form Izanami's jaws and just feeling her teeth scrape the top of her muzzle and along her jaw, leaving some scratches behind. While Izanami had her body curled like this in her attempt to reach her, Tamsyn tried to take advantage of the less than ideal footing to shove the woman hard with her shoulder, hoping to knock her to the ground so she could try to pin her down and get an advantage to win the fight.

"Speech" Izanami was ready to give all she had in this fight, wishing to use all she knew and if there was something wrong, she would right away work to fix it later on. As her jaws aimed for Tamsyn's, her opponent moved so Iza's fangs barely made a firm hold, with only small scratches left behind from her attack. This fight will be tricky as she was fighting someone who matched her in both height and built. This was a new experience as back in her homeland, small females like her were rare, she being the smallest from Hattori's clan. As her body arched, Tamsyn attempted to slam her shoulder against her, quickly she aimed to move to the opposite side of where Tamsyn's shoulder went, aiming to now return the slam wanting to use Tamsyn's own momentum, simultaneously she aimed to try bitting on the scared woman's left side of the neck.
