half of my heart [WEDDING]

Venom stepped up to gathered wolves as the festivities dies down, everyone had eaten, and all eyes could be on the two men she would ask to come before her. The main event of the whole festival, the joining of the hearts of Ashen and that of Abaven. Together as one in marriage so that their packs might be better united. More than that to celebrate the obvious love the two of them shared.
Everything was decorated to perfection, little candles and fires lit the scenery as the sun fell and the moon lifted on the massive gathering of the Empire. Venom wore her condor fashioned helmet as her dress attire, she lifted her head and called for attention as the ceremony would begin.
”Ashen and Abaven have gathered here specifically today to celebrate and witness a vow of marriage between two of our own. My brother, Plague Abraxas, and Abaven’s Void Destruction.” Venom smiled at the two of them as she gestured for both to come before her.

Plague fidgeted and shifted with eager anticipation as he stood beside Void, his heart beating hard in his chest. After the festival got into full swing and they had their meals, he slipped away with Void long enough to put on their outfits that he had carefully crafted for this occasion, a smile that hurt his cheeks pulling across his features when he saw his handsome man in this garment that he had spent so much time on. Her knew that they didn't need formal attire or a big ceremony or any kind of pomp and circumstance to make their marriage official and perhaps Void would have been more comfortable with something much smaller, but... He wanted the very best for his man. He wanted to scream from the top of the mountain how much he loved this man. He was tired of living in shadows, of being afraid of what others would think. From now on he would wear his new name with pride and walk side by side with Void through every step on his life.
"You look so handsome," he whispered into Void's ear after he finished adjusting the leather vest with the draping blue fabric swooping around his frame, straitening the clasp on his chest and the silver sigil resting on Void's shoulder. He grinned and brushed his muzzle against Void's in this brief moment before they would go up to stand in front of his sister, his emerald eyes catching the blue and lavender of his soon to be husband's. "I can't wait to take you home. I love you." With that he moved back to Void's side and walked with him up to the front of the crowd, looking around at the decorations he had collected and put together for the ceremony. Candles, drapes of fabric through the branches of the trees, bundles of flowers tucked around where Venom sat. She looked incredibly regal in her headdress, a look fitting of an Empress. He gave her a grin as he leaned into Void's side, more excited than he could possibly ever express and so thankful that she was doing this for them.
She began to address the crowd and once she gestured for them to come forward, he walked with Void to stand in front of her, turning his gaze that was so full of love and adoration toward Void. This was it. No more waiting. No more hiding. Somehow, even though all of their guests and family were gathered around behind them, it felt like they were in their own little world right now and it felt absolutely perfect. He'd finally get to have his husband and Void would finally have all of him. After so much waiting and patience their time was here.

There were so many wolves here every time he looked around his head wanted to swim. Though he would have been doing so anyway this made it so Void didn’t pay much attention to anything but Plague. He stuck to his side, showing his own social ineptitudes, though they were less intense than either sibling. Void was determined to push through it all, hed stand proudly next to Plague and declare to everyone here that he loved and adored this incredible man. He steeled himself as they snuck away and donned their adornments. Void taking as much advantage of their moments alone beforehand as Plague was to steal kisses and small affectionate touches. He blushed as Plague put the finishing touches, calling him handsome.
His heart skipped a beat, but he grinned like mad, feeling tongue tied and nervous. He found solace in Plague’s gaze, if he looked deep enough he would get lost and forget the huge crowd waiting on them. ”I love you too.” He answered in a whisper as he took in a deep breath and followed his beloved towards the ceremony. He kept his eyes on Plague. He felt himself hesitating when he tried too hard to scan the crowd. It was better this way too, he could ignore the missing faces that should have been here. That guilt had no place here and he filled his mind with the man he would vow his life.
Despite his nerves his features lit up as they slowed and stopped before the Empress and endless forest gaze met his sky and lavender eyes. Everything else disappeared but the two of them as they arrived at a pivotal moment in their lives. They were going to make their own family, just the two of them. Void;s dark lips pulled back into a huge smile, unlike any that graced his features before. This was the moment he waited so long for, he was going to call Plague his and give himself to the man in return. All of the waiting was worth this feeling.

The black and ash coated female didn't feel in a way or another regardless of the wedding her nephew was going through. Wedding were a thing she did remembered but nothing that she would individually consider. She didn't believe in the true love or that a married life brought any special benefit to a wolf. She was more into a free relationship style, sharing bed with anyone without worrying about trivial love stuff. And besides, she got her children not from a loving relationship, she just did from a night stand. And there she got what a female should without a formal relationship. But only time would tell if she would change in that way ,but she didn't feel like rushing that to happen.
She arrived dragging pelts of exquisite quality and a recently killed deer as her presents for the future mates. This was just part of her costumes in weddings. With a soft smile she placed her gifts nearby with an smirk on her dark lips. "Congratulations dear nephew, may your union be prosperous and happy. this was certainly rare on her , but she was in a good mood today. Once said that she too a seat before them , silently and hopping her children would behave properly if the wished to come. She wouldn't force them to attend but if they decided to she expected them to behave..

Panic followed after her mother, already thinking wedding were boring and too dreamy for Panic's preferences. She would rather train and work to make herself the best fighter not only of Ashen but of the entire Boreas. A bold ambition, but Panic was never known to not think bigger than herself. And who was there to stop her? A Klein was to be unstoppable on what they wished to do.
She helped her mother by carrying more pelts as her viper rested around her neck. And placing her own presents with her mother's she quietly took a seat by her mother's side.

This was not an easy trip for Spirit. He'd learned to navigate interacting with strangers on-on-one in his quest to find his mother and sister, but this was something else entirely. There were tons of wolves he didn't know here and it was impossible to really let his guard down. He'd slowly learned to grow used to Plague, but these other wolves did not earn his trust by default. He was too uneasy to really eat, only stealing a few bites to be polite here and there. It was a lovely setup though - even if he wasn't able to really settle his nerves - and he tried to do his best to enjoy himself, though mostly he ended up glued to Gloom's side. He stilled when the procession began, quiet as he observed the ceremony. He truly was happy that Void had found someone he wanted to spend his life with, even if Spirit felt a hollowness forming in his heart at the piece of Void they were losing in this union. He wouldn't protest, of course not, but that didn't stop the fear that was slowly growing inside his chest, mingled in with that happiness.
