The fall of Scorpion to sickness was a wakeup call to the healer, no longer did she waste away her days to comfort and oblivion, not when the pack faced this chaos. It had been two days since they had administered herbs to Scorpion and a constant check on his vitals and symptoms showed her that the best the queen and healer could think up had no solved this problem. Her red queen had asked her to call forth a meeting to untie this newborn pack and get ideas together for how to solve this. Her queen wasn't a healer, she was a queen and Orchid could not solve this alone ? no, they needed more voices to this problem.

When she was herself she was a shy and timid little thing who preferred to stand back and allow others to take the lead, as a healer she found a different strength, one that allowed her to stand up today, to place her vocals in the air and summon the wolves of this pack, the Covari wolves and any Rogues who wished to put their thoughts. She would put together the minds of this pack and their Alpha Vi would travel and find out how the other packs where dealing with this. After making her call she stood in regal silence and waited the arrivals of the healthy.

The boy had bad days and good days, days where he could barely breath and shapes and feelings enveloped him from every side, other days when he was tired and concious and ragging eternally at his weakness. He had just joined this pack, prmoised his servaces to Vi and now he was out of comission, Vi had gotten a bad deal, a broken knight. Today had been a good day and when the howl of the healer rang out he moved lethargic limbs and forced himself to his paws. Too proud to allow himself to drag along the ground like the broken thing he was he wasted extra energy to limp and move his way to the meeting. He stood to the side, away from where the majority was likely to sit, somewhat behind and to the side of Orchid. He nodded his head to the healer girl as he shuffled himself into a sitting position.

The beta struggled to look and calm, relaxed and well but the tiredness in his limps and the shadows beneath his eyes where impossible to disquise. He was surprised that he was the first to arrive, but sat in silence, glad for the opportunity to see the growth and wellbeing of the pack as well as hopefully gain updates on the progress of the sickness that consumed him.

The beautiful creature had heard much of the plague that flooded their pack. It had taken hold of even their very own purple mistress, Des. Everyone had been hustling and bustling about attempting to find a cure. A meeting was only a default. The woman and her leader had become closer. The crimson queen had already spoke to Svanerna and she had been placed a spot on the council. It was a wise decision on the new leaders behalf. Svanerna was intelligent, level headed, mature, and experienced. (Unless provoked.) She could see herself getting far within Covari. Especially when en epidemic such as a disease comes forth. The Finnvi woman saw the pack as her family now. Due tot he fact that her actual family was all scattered and no where to be found, she had given up on the hopeless boys. All the other neices and nephews were mere stories due to the fact she hadnt even met them. Tragedy fell like bricks within the religious family. Her daughters deceased. Her husband unknown. She fucked her son, the son who fucked his brother. It was an odd family, but gone. She hoped Covari would stand strong for long, not abandon her like the Finnvis. Svanerna would make sure of it.

The call of the alabaster fae was soft yet urgent. It was a meeting, but why would the little one be calling and not Vi herself. Perhaps Vi was busy with her co-leader. But, in Svans mind the Alpha should be there for their subjects, rather then a single person. But, not everything happened in Svans way. Obviously. The tri-toned babe got up from her resting place and rolled her tired shoulders. The woman was at age 7, she was getting quite old. It dawned on her later that year that she was but years away from being an elder. Infertile. Brittle. Worn. The bitch would never let those words describe her. Maybe she should fuck some boys? Become a cougar? The woman shook the silly thoughts from her head as she trotted to the meeting spot. But, as she got there it was evident that she was the second to arrive. The older vixen nodded in response to the two, younger, Wolves. She sat to the side and began to emit her delicious vocals. "May I ask where our Queen is?" It was a bold question, but she lacked no confidence. "I also assume this is a matter of the plague. Are you a healer?" The questions were pointed towards the femme.

"Go and Wander." Said my heart.

...and so I would wander.
When the call arose for healers, including rouges who were welcome to join, Ellis would feel something stirring within her gut. She had been staying close to Othello, the two women forming a companionship and bond through their states of pregnancy. Ellis? own was becoming much more noticable, rounded belly having grown out with the lives that stirred with. Children. Her children. Guilt... How it welled up inside of her. She could only pray that they would be alright. It was not the fault of the unborn their way of coming into the world. Born of a father who sought her as a sort of trophy... A vessel for some divine...

The decision had been hard, but in the end Ellis would tell Othello she was going to answer the call and set off. The small woman certainly looked a sight as she maneuvered the best she could with her swollen belly towards pack lands. She wasn?t sure if Othello would come or not, but she promised the other that she would return. They had, for the most part, been carving a small existence for themselves. It was wonderful having someone she could talk to again, someone she felt she could trust... And the other fae staying with her... Gave her a bit of her confidence back.

The rogue woman would cross into pack lands, ears flicked back slightly, scenting the air. Sickness drifted on the wind... It was no doubt that this was what the healers had been called together about. Perhaps the healers of the pack were not experienced with this illness. She would continue on until she came across three of the pack wolves. Two femmes, one closer to the age of an elder, and a male who did not seem the best of conditions as well.

Ellis would come to a stop, clearly a stranger in these lands, and the white woman, marked with shades of brown and a bit of cream and silver, would settle down, teal-green eyes focused on those present. ?I am Ellis Cathal, a healer. I?m willing to try and assist you all how I can.?

She was, for the first time in her young life, feeling the pain of knowing someone else was hurting. Arisu wasn?t particularly close to others, even in her own family, save for a few. Her mother, Solo, Vivek, and, bit by bit, the purple woman she had come to know as a second mother. She had fallen ill, and Arisu?s heart ached because of it. Others too, including Fiamette... Had gotten sick. The russet girl felt her mind reeling, just a bit of the darkness in her heart subsiding for care of her family. Even in the darkest of places, light could penetrate, if only a little bit.

So Arisu would answer the call made by Orchid, seeking to find out what she could to work at finding this cure. Tan legs bring the girl close to packmates and a stranger, a very pregnant stranger, as the newcomer settled down, offering her assistance. The girl would remain standing, green eyes focused on the rogue healer, Ellis, before shifting her gaze to the others present. Orchid had called, and so Arisu would wait to see what she had to say on the matter before deciding whether or not to add in her own input.

A howl would wake the woman, it wasn't one that was familiar but it still demanded to be answered. The woman would rise, slipping from her den, taking a moment to stretch and shake out her pelt before picking up a brisk trot. It would take her a few minutes to arrive, and when she did, others had already gathered. Most of the wolves she didn't know, but a few she recognized from the first pack meeting. Verdant eyes traveled over the crowd, spotting Cru almost immediately. Concern filled her gaze as she saw that he had fallen ill. He was fine the last time she had seen him, but now he was very much not well. She would dip her head in greeting to everyone before speaking to the one she assumed to have called the meeting. "Sibelle, Netrtva, is there anything I can do to help?" She would introduced herself to the woman, stating her rank also, wanting to give the woman an idea that she was capable of helping. Her gaze would dart to the Crucifix every so often, the temptress wanted to see how he was doing, how he was feeling. He was after all the Beta, she would be working closely with him, and they already had shared quite a bit together, she would be sad to lose him.

ooc: short post D:
The boy was active within the pack but he had not been included in the aid to the plague cure. Could they really find a cure? Were their healing powers really that advanced? He could barely believe they could find a cure on their own, but perhaps they could. No one actually knew for sure, but he was a realist in some ways. He had no idea what any herbs did. He did not pay attention to any of the medical stuff. But, he would offer his help anywhere needed. Hopefully this would show he was more then just a Voin. He was in it for the long run. Or until they wronged him. The 'Prince' did not enjoy getting cut out of things. As he arrived to the gathering his silver orbs danced across the clearing with slight curiosity. He found his darling niece and decided to slither her way. The man would sit close, but first he would direct his attention to the girl who hosted the meeting. An alabaster babe, perhaps a medic. He dipped his head with delight and let forth his baritone vocals. "I am Kristoffer Armada, here to help." He smiled softly before looking to his kin and flashing a gentle look her way. He wondered what he could do to help.

She had heard stories of a red woman ruling a pack. She had only met one red woman in her lifetime so it really narrowed it down, hopefully, for Zara and made her decision to head south easy. She moved slowly, easily, head hung down so nose dragged just above the ground to act as a sort of walking stick. Paws were lifted carefully, always raising higher then her lowered nose before being placed back on the ground. Before she knew it she was there, white eyes blinking slowly as she paused and lifted her skull for a moment to sample the air. She had reached boarders, scent markers everywhere and another strange scent? Sickness? She almost tipped her head back, almost howled when another howl reached her, one unfamiliar but calling for a meeting. Massive shoulders lifted then fell easily before head would once again lower and she would set off further within the territory. Many scents washed over her and as they grew stronger she would slow. Voices reached her and frayed ears would swivel and tip to try and catch them. Some asked for their queen, others offered assistance. Assistance for what? "I am Zara Sovari? Also a medic? I will lend my assistance as well." She arrived with skull slowly lifting, blind gaze seeming to sweep over the crowd before eerily switching to the woman who had howled. Crooked tail twitched at her hocks before she took a moment and lowered herself into a seated position to listen. The scent of sickness was strong here and she couldn't help but allow nose to quiver, head turning slowly until gaze settled on a male she could smell was sick. Was this about him?

The healer recognised the first to appear from the Covari meeting of her first day in pack lands. Another of the sick, and his form was a sorry picture as he sat panting in the grass a few feet to her side. The next to make an entrance upon the meeting was a darkly mottled fae with bright eyes and strange touches of red along her coat. ?Our queen has taken a quick journey to other packs to find out what she can, and yes I am a healer? she told this girl whose name she did not know. Next to enter would be another she did not know, but who announced herself as a healer. Orchid would nod her head next to this girl knowing she would be much needed in these talks ? without her Orchid was perhaps the only healer in residence.

A pup would gather now before them and surprise would flick an ear as she looked at this girl. Orchid would recognise Sibelle from the meeting, and knew she also was a beta ? and a healthy one at that. She lowered her head in respect to the higher ranking wolf and gestured for her to take a seat beside Orchid ? With Desiree sick Orchid would need this higher ranking wolf to help with this crisis. More wolves where appearing before them, the crowd gathering below and she was ever more thankful for Sibelles presence as she took in a breath, stealing herself for the gazes of all these strangers upon her.

Another would appear, this one scenting strongly of the rogue lands and calling herself a medic. Another smile would grace Orchids lips, healers, healers had come to Covari and she would not be the only one here with herb knowledge, trying to find the answers. The pack had voices in this too, healers or not for the crisis that gripped them. She sucked in a breath and struggled to find words, speeches ? public speaking. She shuddered inwardly but plunged on regardless. ?All healers are welcome here today, rogue or otherwise, so thank you? she began, taking in another breath of air. She hadn?t really considered the implications of calling a meeting ? speeches. She couldn?t just shove them all into the same space and except them to understand and find the answers. ?For those of you that don?t know, there is a sickness travelling the lands ? it is not just Covari effected, we know this because of a runner from Valhalla that came to our border a few days after our first sick had fallen. To tell us of their encounter with this. It starts with bleeding of the eyes, contains hallucination and fevers and fatigue for the most part ? and it is not infectious both I and Vi have been in contact with it and even now we show no symptoms? which surely was enough to catch up the unknowing. ?You are all here because we are trying to find answers. We have given herbs that match the symptoms ? Eldberry for immune system, Yarrow for bleeding and Wolfsbane as a fever reduction and pain relief ? none of these have proved the answer. ? annoyance crept into her tones at the illusiveness of the cure and the fear that their might not be one. She mentioned nothing of this ? she didn?t want road blocks or doubts, she wanted answers. ?So let?s all knock out heads together and think offer ideas, experience and knowledge. Even if you don?t know healing, don?t think your useless, offer us ideas that perhaps we have not thought of yet? this was more of a group discussion then a meeting, which was exactly what it needed to be.

The woman watched carefully as the Wolves piled in. She observed Sovari and the Rogue who sauntered in. Her metallic eyes then met her beta then the ever so charming Kristoffer. The woman took a moment to eye him before she looked over to another rogue, a tattered one at that. Svanerna waited for more to come, but not another soul showed. The older woman then looked back to the leading lady who called upon them as answers came forth. ?Our queen has taken a quick journey to other packs to find out what she can, and yes I am a healer? The vixen nodded ever so slightly. Who could blame her for wondering? The woman was not shy in least bit. The tri-toned fae sat tall, due to her higher rank her ego was quite inflated. But, of course, the girl knew cocky was not a good color on a lady. Svan listened as the Rogues and others introduced themselves and announced their arrivals. But, then the leading lady began to emit a speech. Silver and gold eyes staid out on the lighter colored fae before her. Though, she began to brainstorm. How could she help? The girl knew nothing of herbs or anything of the sort. But, she knew of something that may help. Her lovely vocals were once again emitted, "Agrimony would help with the belly bits of it, I heard of vomiting being a symptom as well.." She shrugged, the woman was there for help, whether it was right or not she had no clue.

Soliloquy had continued to guard his brother and sister, there had been little change in Scorpion's health so far unfortunately and whilst that revelation irritated him, longing for his brother's recovery, he of course wouldn't put the blame on Orchid. The poor girl was doing all she could to find a way to help not only their brother but the rest of the sick within the pack. They all needed to be helped after all, but it was a rather big task for the girl, beyond continuing to care and protect her however there was little that the inexperienced man could actually do to help.

As she called for a meeting however he would depart from his current post, once more he had stopped by to check upon his brother there was no sign of Orchid and he assumed she was doing her rounds, checking up on the others that was until the point she had called the pack forwards. Now the Destruction boy would be swift to change his course of direction and head towards the sound of her call. If she was calling a meeting then he most certainly wished to be present. He highly doubted any harm would come of her though he did not wish for her to be alone regardless.

He was a little late, others had begun to gather some completely unfamiliar to Soliloquy. He would silently move to stand beside his sister as she spoke to them all, her words far more regal than he had heard his dear timid sister sound before. He wouldn't interfere at all, allow her to continue to speak. She would encourage them all to put forwards ideas, and whilst even those as clueless as himself were included in that, Soliloquy would remain silent. He knew very little on herbs, perhaps he would have to get Orchid to teach him some more at a later date but the topic had barely been covered so far. One woman, Svanerna if he was correct in recalling her name, would offer a suggestion of her own and hopefully others would follow her lead. He was simply here in case Orchid required him, whether to go and fetch any herbs from her den or accompany her to distribute anything to the sick.

The pale woman would acknowledge her, releasing the woman to move to Cru's side. She would rush to the mans side, verdant gaze filled with concern. "Oh dear, you look dreadful." A half smile would tug at her pale lips as she peered down at the man. She would pay little mind to the other wolves that arrived, her attention fixed on Cru. The woman would only turn as the pale woman spoke. Russet bodice would rotate so that she could sit beside the man. Audits stood at attention, eyes sweeping the crowd briefly. A woman she didn't recognized sat amongst them. The scent of rogue hung in the air, presumably coming the stranger. The healer spoke, explaining the situation before asking for any suggestions. "If needed, I can escort healers to rogue lands to search for herbs." It would be the only thing she said, and the only thing she could offer. She figured healers would be able to defend themselves, but they couldn't risk an attack on someone so valuable.

"Go and Wander." Said my heart.

...and so I would wander.
Four others would arrive after the pregnant woman had. A young girl, perhaps half a year old, an elder healer with blind eyes, a male with strange shiny things on his body and around his neck, and a russet woman as well. The rogue healer would perk her ears up some, listening as the pale wolfess of the pack began to speak. Sickness... With bleeding of the eyes, fever, hallucinations, as well as seeming as to not be infectious, as those around the disease had not had it spread to them. Perhaps then that only certain wolves would fall ill. All of it seemed a bit strange.

Then another woman would speak up, offering her own thoughts. She was another pack member, and as she finished a pale male would appear. Teal-green gaze shifted to the healer in charge, speaking up. ?I would suggest meadowsweet, as it could possibly help with the fever and vomitting, and Arigomy too sounds like a good idea.? Ellis would say softly. Gaze would shift to the russet woman, who introduced herself as Sibelle. It would certainly be a good idea to have someone with them... Or at least her. ?If a particular herb is not found in the south I may have some in my den at Fontamo Bay if there are none on paw here.? She would offer up what she could as well.

The massive beast of a woman would stay in the outskirts, unable to tell if she had been noticed or acknowledged at all so she would simply listen. The lead healer spoke first, describing just what was being dealt with and for a long time the woman would stand and stare blankly. Vi's name was mentioned, so she was here. But there was a sickness? Was that what she smelt? Again she would test the air before cringing. But thankfully the woman continued speaking to say that it wasn't contagious as far as they knew. Thankfully. The conversation followed with a few people offering suggestions and Zara would once again tip her head curiously. "I have Valerian Root handy, and medowsweet grows here as well though it might be a bit frostbitten. Could be helpful with stomach cramps if thats an issue." She offered up with a shrug of her shoulders. Her den wasn't far from here, just at the base of mount volkan where tortuga had once resided. It was barely a 20 minute walk there for her. Though maybe someone had it handy or would be willing to run to her den for it. She wasn't super keen on walking there and back herself. "My den is at mount volkan and I'm pretty sure I have all three of those herbs there if someone was willing to run. We could test these out on him now." Heartless? Head would jerk towards the stench of sickness, nose wrinkling. It might not be contagious but damn did he smell bad.

It was with great relief that the girl watched other move forward with ideas and suggestions. They where getting somewhere, and any idea was a great relief. Sol arrived, a touch late but the fact that he did arrive was something she was grateful for. She gave him a soft smile as he stopped and took in the meeting. He remained silent, but a steady rhythm for her to lean on. She lingered her eyes on him another moment, before returning to the important matters of the meeting. Arigomony ? she didn't have any of that on hand or in her collection

Another healer offered forth an idea and agreed with Argimony. Then a third idea would come forth, Valarion root, and the meeting was alive with suggestions. ?Valarion root and Meadowsweet I have handy in my den which is very close? she shot an apologetic look to Svan ? every guess was welcome and she was not discarding her idea lightly. ?If I might make a suggestion of my own. Lady's slippers I have handy and its a light sedative, if I make the quick trip to my den we can try them on one of the sick now? Her eyes glanced over to the one sick who had decided to be present, seeing if any objections would jump to his lips.

The boy instead moved forward and spoke a few words of consent, she nodded her head to him gratefully, gave everyone a quick smile and waited for any last words of input or objection and dashed off across the territory in a light stride. She would be in her den in moments and wrapping up the suggested herbs in a leaf before curling the stem about her fur by her neck. She turned and ran back to the meeting, before stopping before Crucifix. ?Alright I want to give you the sedative first? she told him gently.. let him get a little out of it in case their was any side effects, and one by one she fed him the packs suggestions - Valerion root, Meadowsweet and Ladys Slippers

Crucifix would remain silent and hang back, he was too sick and dizzy to get his mind in order well enough to put together any suggestions of his own. Besides, his knowledge of herbs was rudimentary at best and clearly there where healers here who quickly exceeded him. So he was silent, and listened, and noticed the few glances that went his way. He was a sorry sight he knew, but it was winter and he was sick, he was sure a real bath would kill chill him to the bones and kill him, and his own Silvia was to dry and parched to clean himself ? if he could even muster up the energy.

At last as he listened to the wolves he could see where his own use would come in. The healer, orchid would speak a few words and cast a glance his way and with a sigh he would muster the energy to step forward. ?Why not, take a few random guesses and gunine-pig me? he said with a dry laugh, but his smile was gunine ? he could feel the anxiety of the healers, the need to find the answer before they lost any wolves. Like himself, or their queen Des. He was however slightly surprised with the speed the healer moved things along with his consent. She dashed to her den and returned a moment later with her herbs. She then stepped before him and offered them to him one at a time. He grimaced and swallowed down the herbs. And closed his eyes with a sigh. He was sure their wouldn't be a reaction immediately, but nonetheless eh reached inside of himself, ready to tell the healer anything about any changed that might happen.
