revenge is a dish best served cold
raid meeting

Inu Island
Hattori had not been present for Winterfells raid of Ashen, it had been before his time, but he knew of the lingering scars and resentment that had been left behind. Muttered vows of vengeance and blood to be spilled. One might suggest that they had waited too long, needlessly, but in Hattori's mind now was the perfect time to strike. Lost and forgotten, old grudges that had lingered out of sight and mind for too long. They would not see this attack coming, it would blind side them and the sheer force of Ashen's might would be unquestionable. Proof that they'd shed their olden burdens and been made anew.
He stood outside the palace and dug his talons into the sand, he was put together in his armour and cloak with his tanto strapped to his side. His companions lingered out of sight in the jungle behind him, watchful eyes waiting for the command to get on the move. To scout ahead before rejoining their master. It had been quite some time since they'd been properly put to work, patrolling borders day in and out surely put their skills to shame.
Tipping his head back, the Shogun called out for Ashen's warriors, for any and all who were willing and able to fight.

Hela had more free time since the rank she had for years was taken, but being her nephew the one who took it, she wasnt as upset. She knew it was in good paws, and despite being in a lower rank, she was still Hela, and as Hela she didn't feel below others. A rank was just that, and even without one she was still a force to recognize, the fucking demolition ball Ashen had. And she ws more than capable of ripping someone's ass. And as she patrolled the borders, a call from Hattori rang through the land reaching her ears. A raid? An evilish smirk formed, it was like a bell to feast for her. Raids were a feast for her, the perfect excuse to bring pain for fun. And like that she arrived to the meeting, sitting down in silence. "Speech" |

Panic wasnt too far behind her mother as she approached to the meeting place. Today, as always she has been up to working on her training, doing exercise, and trying to learn new moves. The tournament has given her a lot of new knowledge, using her different opponent's tactics for herself. The ambition of being the best of the best, still inspired her to keep working, without letting what others said or though about her stop her. She was a Klein, and failure was not a word that defined her bloodlines. Arriving she sat down beside her mother, eager to see what the meeting would be about.

He had kept himself on pretty light duty at the insistence of his husband ever since he came back with Rava. The injuries he had received from the slavers hadn't been very intense - only some bites in places that didn't hinder his movement too much - but he wasn't surprised to see Void worried. However, as soon as he heard Hattori's call for fighters he knew he had to go. The bites were mostly healed at this point anyway so he didn't worry about them. He was already in his armor with his dagger in its sheath since he had been in the middle of a patrol when Hattori called and as he loped across the territory Viridis and Procella both quickly emerged from the forest to join him at his side.
When he arrived Hela and Panic were already there. He gave his aunt and her enthusiastic daughter both a nod. Panic had done well in the training he held so he was eager to see how she held up in a raid. He turned his attention to the Shogun then as he settled back on his haunches with the two snow leopards flanking him, giving his sister's mate a polite nod as well. He waited to see who else would show and to hear who their target was this time around. Besides fighting the slavers over Rava's cloak, he hadn't had a decent fight since his challenge with Hela so he was excited that they were finally getting out into the world again.

Her and Chimera had been through pretty rough times recently, not that she was acknowledging. Viper acted like nothing was wrong and nothing happened. It was pretty usual behavior for her.
Other than keeping kills in the stores for Ashen, she had been pretty quiet. Staying on the island since she moved in with Chimera. She took her runs on the island now too, and she may have been away from the rest of the pack enough to think she was absent.
Hattori's call made her interested. She traveled across the islands until she made it to the small group, ready for the raid party she wasn't expecting. Moccasin took a seat along side her and her Caracara flew in before perching on his back. Her head hung a little low as she eyed Hattori, waiting for the news.

Venom was well aware this day would someday come. There had been a long stretch, but then again revenge was never swift. She easily recalled the feeling of loss when Winterfell descended upon them. She had been weak and very newly instated into her position of Empress. This rematch would be much different. She knew what the call was for when she heard her husband’s voice ring out over the territory. She adorned her armor and left the palace with Anko and Poison in tow.
Most of the raiding party was already gathered by the time the Empress arrived. She didn’t hesitate to make her way to Hattori’s side, but her sunset gaze fell on each one gathered so far. Ashen was an impressive force compared to the day she took the throne. It had been too long since their Empress had fought along beside them, but she did not regret the absence for the reward. Soon her own children would be old enough to raid alongside them. For now they would take that pack’s more experienced warriors and show Winterfell the error of their ways.

Back from his trip to the north for reconnaissance, Chimera had been prepared for this raid for a while. He was annoyed at the lack of... anything. There had been nothing fruitful during his trip. He'd pissed on the border of the pack in question and had left. There was very little activity there. It almost didn't seem worth the trouble of walking that far again.
Viper arrived before he did and the giant man moved to sit beside her. He didn't exactly like anyone else and there was no reason not to sit beside the woman that was living with him. Especially since he hadn't seen her for quite some time, having just arrived back in Ashen. The two-toned man was ready for this meeting to be over with. They all knew the drill.
The brutes paws throbbed from the long journey so he slid down to lay upon his belly. Claws dug into the ground as he did so. If they would just hurry up already, he could get back to his island for a while before the group was expected to fall out.
Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.

Toxicity arrives simply out of obligation. As the pack was her home, the home of her pups, and the home of her shrine, she would always fight for it and to protect it. Whether on the offense or defense, she was there. Not that she loved being summoned by Hattori, but alphas were alphas she guessed. She came to the meeting and sat- expression neutral as she held back any distaste for those in attendance or those doing the summoning. She was here to fight, and that should be enough for them. Attitude, or lack thereof, not included. She was just here by her sense of duty.

Malachai had not been alive when they'd been attacked by Winterfell but he'd not been old enough to participate in the last raid, even if it had been just a practice one. So this? Well, this was exactly what he wanted to do, what he wanted to offer to his pack. So technically he wasn't officially a warrior but damn anyone who wanted to stop him! The young man arrived, the click of his claw covers announcing his arrival. He stood tall now, taller than even his mother and he wasn't even done growing, though ultimately he'd only really top out at another inch or two but he strode with all the confidence of someone who knew just how fuckin' big he was. And he was, a yearling now his frame had filled out, and instead of the almost sort of comically inflated figure he'd born in the last few months of his pup hood it seemed the muscle had finally decided to define itself. He was, visibly, a big meaty wall. Malachai moved to position himself next to his mother, a small proud smirk quirking his lips as he noted how he had to look down to properly see her, though it wasn't malicious. He loved her still, in his own way, he was just nothing if not a young man in desperate need of an ego check. "Speech |

Lament knew he would do whatever he must to protect this place he had decided to call home. When the call of his Shogun rang out, he returned quickly to his den. Grabbing his newly crafted obsidian gloves, and placing them over his paws. He stretched his knuckles, feeling the weight of them and knew they would soon be getting their trial. His bracers he rarely took off, and were already in place. As he did this, his Golden Pheasant hopped onto his back. Her long, colorful plumage trailing down his pack. His caracal got up with a stretch and pressed into his side. Their wordless support was all he needed.
He nodded his head to his companions, and moved out of the den and fell into a tireless lope to the meeting place his leader had chosen. He placed himself near Plague, a wolf he was familiar with and respected, before looking to Hattori. He was ready, whatever this day would bring.

The Shogun did not have long to wait, one by one they appeared on the scene armed to the teeth and ready to get down to business. Not everyone present had been there to experience the Winterfell raid, but the bitter sentiments were catching. There was a point to be proven and who better than Ashen's best and brightest? When Venom appeared on the scene Hattori's gaze wasn't so steely in anticipation, he offered her a reverent dip of his head. The war preparations were his own, but the Empire and its riches laid at his wife's paws. He would do whatever it took to best serve her, even if she asked him to stain the waves red with blood he would see it done. This was the second time they had fought side by side and the thought made him feel oddly all the more fond of her. She was a warrior through and through, he would have it no other way.
But for today their gaze was set north and to the past.
Hattori wasn't one for long and dramatic speeches, nor did it look as though the crowd that had gathered was in need of any rousing. He said what was needed and left it at that.
"This has been a long while coming, but for those who are unaware Winterfell raided Ashen some time ago. It is time we give them the same treatment in return. Fight however you see fit." He said, leaving it up to their discretion if they wished to maim or not. This was no practice raid, wolves would get hurt regardless. "When the fighting is done we will host a hunt on their territory." Now Hattori would claim he was not petty enough to stoop so low to make a jab for the sake of it, but he recalled the frustration in watching Fireside rummage through their stores. He imagined being forced to watch a pack hunt would be worse tenfold.
He looked to his wife to see if she had anything to add, they would leave at her discretion, hot on her heels.
