Come down, come down sweet reverence
Jynn enjoyed her time on the beach. It was a cool day but the sun beating down on her fur had warmed her up enough to swim out to the nearest island. She scrambled quickly up the rocky shore and peered out at the lovely scene. The brown rocks that made up the islands surface were studded here and there by clumps of green grass. Tall deciduous and palm trees also grew up from the surface. Where she was standing a rich, sky blue stream flowed through.
In the distance Jynn could see the green hills and sandy beaches of the other two islands. The sky was a solft slate blue with pale gray and white clouds dotted here and there. Below her the ocean was a soft blue color, darkening out to navy around the base of the remaining islands. She was about to continue when a strange call caught her attention. She looked up in the nearest tree to see a little bird singing away. It was a tawny brown color with dark brown wings that were tipped in green and blue. A pretty little tropical bird! To the left of her she spied another colorful bird with an orange head, dark blue wings and a brown and green tail.

Álarr needed a bit of a vacation. It was getting late in the fall and soon it would be time to butcher sections of the flock to stock up for the winter. On top of that he had to finish refilling his herb stores. This was proving to be a greater task than it had ever been. The previous cold spell had been hard on the plants of Boreas and now they were going right into fall and winter again. It was stressful. So he found himself a nice island to settle on and just relax. He was stretched out on the beach when he heard something moving nearby. Álarr turned to see a strange, thin wolf staring at him from the bushes.

Come down, come down sweet reverence
Jynn worked her way to the beach debating whether she should play in the sand or try her paw at fishing again. She was just about out of the brush when she noticed a large male stretched out in the sand with a notable pair of horns curling up from his head. He turned and looked at her and she stared back. "Oh… um… hey there. Enjoying the sun?" She stepped out into the light and padded toward him. While he didn't seem the super friendly type he didn't seem to be much of a threat either for as she approached he didn't bother to get up or display any aggressive behavior.

Álarr watched the woman quietly as she stepped forward and asked if he was enjoying the sun. He nodded lightly. She didn't seem to be much of a danger and he was so comfortable in the sand he rather hated to get up. "Yes, thought I'd soak up the sun while we have it." It had been a rather wet fall but he was complaining. With all the cold, winter weather they'd had to deal with dry weather as well. A healthy rain might help the plant life for the next spring. "What brings you out this way? My name is Álarr Imperialis." He didn't notice any pack scent on the strange woman.

Come down, come down sweet reverence
Jynn settled down in the sand near the man but not too close. As relaxed as he seemed she still wanted enough space that she could bounce to her feet and make a hasty escape if needed. Her toes needed the sand as she gazed out at the other islands, contemplating if she wanted to go ahead and swim out to any of them. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jynn Tirana. I'm just out exploring. I saw these islands from the bay and figured I could swim out to at least this one. I think it was worth the trip, though I'm not fond of cleaning the salt out of my fur." She definitely have to take a fresh water bath when she got back.
