This could hardly be considered the home stretch of his expedition, but he felt a bit gleeful nonetheless when he arrived at one of the last packs on his agenda. The looming structure on the horizon of a dilapidated wooden barn, far larger than anything he'd seen in his young life, caught his eye. It was too far away for him to get a good idea of any details, but the whole thing was overall quite intriguing. Part of him wished he could venture over and investigate, but there was a task at hand to be finished up. He needed to be on his way soon, if he was to make his way back to their site on the coast in time to finish the last minute preparations. Despite the demand for decorum, the exhausted male couldn't help but dip his forelimbs into a low stretch, easing some of the knots building between his shoulders and down his spine. It was demanding work, and hard on him in more ways than one, but he had no option to deny his master's will. Once more rising to his full height, raven pelage was given a vigorous shake to settle the fur into the right places. Following up with a few cursory swipes of his tongue, he managed to get himself looking presentable for an audience. Elegant crown tipped back as he let out a call, hoping to summon any of the high ranking members or their leader for a moment of their time. There was none of the rumbling tones of a demand, and they were more than welcome to ignore him if they so chose. He exhaled gently through his nose, and let his attention return to surveying the landscape of this newest meeting place. Certainly unique, and he found himself wondering what their other territories must be like. He'd heard that many of the packs in the area held many acres, across a few different types of terrain.
