The Warlord might call Lia an Armada wolf, but as far as she was concerned she wasn't a pack-creature. She was a slave, and her Masters weren't here. She had passed the message on to Sirius that the bird had given her. With it, the knowledge that Artorias was injured. Now, she returned to an empty den and stared in silence and the walls that surrounded her. Even Mortis and his friend had gone off on an adventure. She was surrounded by silence, and the sound of her own breathing.
It took longer then she wished to admit to work up the courage to get back to her paws. To make her way to the packs border. Longer still to take a step over it. Ears to her skull, and tail tucked between her legs. She expected any moment to find that that white wolf had been lying in wait for his chance at revenge. Quivering in her skin, she plunged onwards. Following the line of Ashens border to lead her around to the path thay directed to Auster. She didn't know where she was going, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. She belonged to those two wolves, she needed them. Artorias was injured, and Briar was facing that challange of seeing him injured. They might know it, but they needed her. And she needed them. Needed them more then her fear compelled her to cover down in the grass and stay there.
She could do this.
From there, she followed the shoreline, bringing her down to Auster. She borrowed through the thorns at its edges, careful not to snag her pristine coat, but she didn't always manage to keep clear. By thr time she hit the landbridge, night had fallen. If there was a castle to see in the distance to guide her in home, she couldn't see it. Once night stated to fall, the light went quickly. Soon, she was surrounded by nothing but darkness and lapping waves. She hunkered down on the sand, ears to her skull. She wanted so desperately to get back to her feet. Surely the hollows was only around the next rise... but she was exhausted and frightened. She couldn't move, her willpower was spent.
Takeshi had been doing a late round of the borders when he’d come across the scent of an Armada wolf on the wind. It was a scent he knew well, they shared a border after all, not to mention he was frequently within the borders training with Sirius or using their training center. His head tilted curiously as he stood on the Archipelago island nearest to Auster, the island that had previously belonged to Siren, Chimera and their band before they’d shipped off somewhere else. It was interesting, seeing what they’d been up to. It was surprisingly mundane, not that he’d expected a bunch of boar heads on pikes to be lining the outskirts...but one never knew with Chimera.
The boy made his way into the waters, biting his tongue as the cold bit at the skin beneath his thick winter pelt. The swim from Ibon to the bifrost was perhaps 10 minutes, but with the biting temperature it felt much longer. Benjiro and Amaya made the journey alongside him, the panting breaths of all echoing through the air along with the lapping waves. Finally, they ran ashore. Water stream from his pelt as he beached, his massive body giving a shake to rid itself of excess water. After a few moments, steam began to rise from him as the warmth from his body, fresh from vigorous exercise, began to evaporate the water. The bioluminescence from his scales, eyes and mouth cast a ghastly red glow onto the steam, looking as though red smoke unfurled from his body. He took off at a jog, trying to keep warm in the cold weather as he headed toward the scent. As he drew closer, he noticed a girl cowering against the sand, the scent of their allies wafting from her identifying her as the source. A small frown drew came from his lips and he offered a bark of greeting, his companions at his side.
In the dark, he paid no thought to the fact that he likely looked like a demon, complete with dark ram horns, immense size, glowing red scales and what looked like red smoke coming from his body.

She couldn’t stay here, out on the open on the land bridge. Somewhere between Auster and Boreas, with the Armada too far behind her, and The Hallows too far ahead. Her promised paradise it seemed would always be just out of reach.
She pulled her bushy tail up around herself, curling into the smallest ball she could. Trying to gather a little bit of warmth to her. She was tired, but too wired to xclose her eyes. So it was her eyes were wide open when the demon drifted down the sand. His glowing body calling her eyes to him, and the smoke that alighted from his burning body shimmered in the cool air. Lia cowered down into her toes for a moment, eyes wide and horrified. Perhaps it was training, or necessity. Some function beyond her comprehension that brought her back to her trembling paws. She dipped her head low, kissing the sand. M-m-m-my L-l-lord, how may I serve you?’ she whispered, wondering what horror had found her now.
The moment her eyes lighted on him, he could see a sheen of pure terror gloss over them. He paused in his strides, auds flitting back in confusion and his head turned from side to side, then to look behind him, wondering if there was something he should be concerned about. When he didn’t see anything, his akita companion, Benjiro, cleared his throat. Takeshi’s glowing red gaze turned to him with raised brows and his companion spoke in their native tongue, “Master, I believe she is afraid of you.”. This startled him even more. The boy supposed he was rather large compared to most wolves, standing at close to 40” at that point, and his horns were rather odd...but to instill this much terror, especially in an ally...he didn’t like it. It made him feel quite guilty.
His mind raced for a way to fix it and he did what immediately came to mind. The massive boy dropped to the ground and rolled onto his back, paws tucked to his chest not in a show of submission, but in a show that he meant no harm. His companions bowed at his side, showing they also meant no harm but also to protect him in his still somewhat vulnerable position. His gaze turned to Benjiro again, asking him to say something. “Master Takeshi was patrolling the Ashen borders when he smelled your scent, Miss. He was simply curious, he means no harm, especially to someone in the Armada,” the Akita offered.
