It's Been A While

It had been some time since she had come down to Auster, but it was where she had preferred to live her whole life. Kefka had kept her away over the last few seasons, but as she carefully trekked her way across the Bifrost his scent was no where to be found. She did wonder where he would have gone, how she had been able to evade him all of this time. She had assumed he either died or lost interest in finding her. She assumed death though, because he was a bit obsessed with her to call quits on the manhunt.
She made it to the falls where she was still stalking around carefully, waiting to catch a scent or sight of him. She was more focused on her worries than what was going on around her.

His time so far in Fenmyre had certainly not been exactly what he had been anticipating so far, but it was all in all a fairly relaxed task staying on the island and doing some patrols. He had also taken to doing hunts every day or at least every other day since as Chimera had warned him when he got here there were quite a few new mouths to feed. It kept him occupied if nothing else and Aquila always enjoyed the chance to do a bit of tracking and hunting as well. Usually he was able to manage a decent hunt within the pack's claimed lands by the beaver dam, but today he wasn't having much luck so he moved out a bit more toward the Cedar Falls. There was usually at least some deer or something to go after around here, but as Auster began to get into cooler weather it was a little harder to find anything significant.
As he walked though the pine trees that surrounded the falls he still wasn't coming up with much in the way of prey, but he did catch a fairly familiar scent that he hadn't come across in a little bit. His ears perked at the find and he abandoned his hunt for the time being as he shifted course toward his old acquaintance, finding Relm's distinctive form fairly easily. He tossed her a grin as he trotted over to her, saying, "Relm! Long time no see!" He thought back and he was pretty sure the last time he saw her was at Ashen's tournament which strangely felt like a lifetime ago. "How've you been?"
