What was this? Asla had found a strange little thing poking out of the swamp. It was metal and twisty with a little hook at one end. Surely it could be used for something, but what? Plucking it from the swamp, Asla gave it a little wiggle in the water to rinse it clean. One of the submerged reptiles was drawn close with the splashing and Asla found the items first use. She bapped the crocodile right across the snout with it, sending the beast splashing back into hiding. Turning, Asla held the item between her jaws, putting a bit of distance between herself and the waters edge. Once in a comfortable, grassy space, she lifted it in her paws, gave it a little shake, then used it to lightly scratch an itch behind one grey ears. Oo... now that felt nice. She proceeded to give herself all over scratchings just because she could and enjoyed every moment of it. "Speech"
