along the horizon, the sun barely peeked over to say good morning. stars above twinkled lightly as they began to hide behind the rays of the day. behind him, sleeping in an alcove, his brother snoozed and snored in a deep slumber. not wanting to bother the grouch so early, kuroo decided it was better to go explore while he waited. standing up with a stretch of his legs, he leaned down into a bow, letting out a quiet yawn.

this place they had arrived, just off the shore of the islands they'd landed on, was simply beautiful. soft, warm sand beneath his paws crinkled with each step as he began walking down the beach. water sparkled playfully and reflected tones of pink and orange. at the forefront, kuroo knew they had to find raijin and their cousins, eventually. that was their main mission here. they had to find out where their elusive father was living and why he hadn't stayed on iga.

for now though, kuroo figured they could have some fun. he had heard whispers that this strange world outside of their home was huge and home to many wolves like themselves and yet, not like themselves. being the curiously extroverted type, kuroo continued his stroll down the beach. walking along the bay at a leisurely pace, he let his pale gaze wander. excited by the foreign grasses and listening to the plop of fish breaching the surface, he almost felt okay being here.
