This new place always left her feeling hungry. Always traveling and seeing new sights, they hardly paused unless it was to sleep or catch something to eat. Ugh, how boring of a life was that? Unlike her homeland where everyone lived close and bustling markets spread through dense districts. It was a sort of hustle and bustle that she missed dearly. Even though these lands were pretty and there was plenty to see, her heart longed for the social interaction of her friends and family. A wistful sigh leaves her lips as she glances back toward Seven. "Want to go for a swim? Or catch some fish?" Celeste's ivory lips curl up in a smile as she turns back to spy the widening river just up ahead of them. Listening to the rush of water crash over rocks and against muddy embankments, she felt an excitement light up in her heart. Approaching the fast-moving river, her aquamarine eyes searched for a lazier section that was slow enough for them to swim into. That wouldn't take long before her small stature turned upriver to find a small inward dip of the river where a section of rocks and debris would buffet the water and slow the current. "C'mon, it'll be fun! I'm sure we can catch plenty of fish!" She called out as her tail wagged happily. Beside her, her black cat decided it was against his better judgment to join and instead went climbing into a tree to watch from above. Before Seven or her companion could detest, Celeste dove her petite frame into the chilly pool of water and let her body succumb to the frigid temperatures. Once she surfaced, she swiveled with expertise paw paddles to face the shore.

Seven could not complain about his life now. He had a master and even during the darkness he had kept her fed. Seven was following his duty and he was fulfilling his needs. Much brighter and friendlier Seven loved to bark in response to Celeste words. His happy yips a sign he was lostening to her every beck and call. It was when she ran into the river that he followed suit.

Not caring about the cat Seven jumped into the river. Splashing water upwards as he caught a fish before surfacing. Skillfully he tossed it on shore, perhaps so the cat could eat? Either way he barked happily at celeste waiting to see what she would do.

Her laughter reverberated through the air as Seven splashed in behind her. Blinking away drops of water from her eyes, she gasped in awe as he flung a fish from beneath the surface onto the shore. "You really are skilled, aren't you boy?" She asks with a giggle. Swimming in circles, she enjoys the nice break from walking so much. Dipping her own head beneath the surface, her aquamarine eyes search for a fish to snag. Her breath pushes in her throat as it aches for her to resurface. Unfortunately, as she aims for a fish, it swims just out of reach. Coming back up, Celeste sputters with another laugh.

Of course he was talented, hed been born for this. His siblings eight and nine had never met up to his hunting. Seven never let his ego get too big though he was here to serve Celeste not show off. She had failed with the fishing and he frowned, he wished he couls give her his skill.

Diving down he stared at a passing fish. These were fast and healthy compared to those infected by the ooze. Popping back up he gasped for breath. Swimming up to Celeste he pushed his nose playfully into her neck.

Was that disappointment she had seen in his gaze? Scowling a moment while he dipped beneath the surface, Celeste scoffed quietly under her breath. Boys and their audacity. Her thoughts scorned her as she sighed and shook her head softly. No, of course, Seven wouldn't be like that. He was a slave after all. Waiting for the boy to resurface, she met his gaze with calm eyes and a kind smile. It sure was nice having his company, made this journey to a new world all the less lonely. After he had gasped for a breath, Celeste watched as he paddled over to her and pressed a nose to her neck. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Yes? Is there something you'd like to tell me?" She asked curiously.

Seven looked at her rather curiously. She asked him if he had something to say.Anxiety overwhelmed him for a moment. He kept his smile but his ears pinned to the back of his head. For a moment he looked down realizing perhaps hed gone too far. Hed spent too much time as a loner and it had ruined him! He dunked underneath, grabbing a small fish and then presenting it to her. Maybe a gift would show how sorry he was. His paws kept him afloat in the water as he whined happily.

Her eyes watched him as he went through a variety of emotions. Somehow her question had triggered the wrong thing. Celeste tilted her head with a scrunch of her brow as Seven’s head dipped back under the water. Had she said something wrong? Paddling effortlessly to keep herself afloat, the petite woman waited for him to resurface. It would be only a few moments before the slave came back up with a fish in his mouth. Offering it to her with whines, Celeste sighed with a quiet laugh. “Oh boy, you are just too sweet to me,” Celeste cooed as she smiled at him. Thinking it might be thoughtful of her to return the gesture, Celeste's own head dipped back down under the water. Searching with eyes wide open, she swam after a smaller sized fish. Snagging it quickly before it could dart away, she let her teeth sink in successfully. Coming back up as air rushed into her lungs, she presented it to the slave boy as a gift.
