The lands safely protected by Glaciem's borders were just that: safe. Kyarst, in his infinite wisdom, had decided on this day - and many other previous days - to cast safety aside and frequent the lands of which Glaciem had no control. As the familial scent slowly faded away behind him, he found himself drawn northeast toward the sea. An inland channel, perpetually frozen, stood in his path - marked by a large unnatural looking structure that begged for immediate attention. He drifted toward it, paws never bothering to hesitate over the potentially dangerous ice. His nearly full grown frame moved like a wraith in the night, though it was nearly morning judging by the glow of the sun on the horizon. With a single leap he landed on her bow, it having sunk down - held still by the claws of the ice. There came a victorious yip from his jaws as he positioned himself precariously upon the very tip of the ship - surveying the landscape as far as his eyes would allow. ?speak,? |
