Finally the boy was ready to venture from the den he had lived in, his pudgy figure tumbling at each step. An excited yip would come from the boy's tiny maw, tiny banner wagging along with his tiny body. "Daddy! Mommy! Come out! It's AMAZING out here!" His voice was that of a squeaker, a laugh following his voice as he disappeared into the grasses happily, inhaling the scents of the world -- water, grass, plants, animals -- bringing the boy the enthusiasm to explore past the falls. In veldt ears crashed the sound of a waterfall, coating the mocha boy with sheer joy. He just wanted to explore, which was so out of character for the boy, but before his endeavors could begin, he wanted approval from his parents. A small yip would come from his muzzle as the child would approach his parents and stare into their eyes with adorable golden gems.
Her son?s enthusiasm would leave her smiling, but her pace would not quicken. She could hear him easily rustling through the grass, but his siblings needed attention too. She knew he would not go far, he behaved well in the den and though he wished to explore he wouldn?t go far. Nuzzling her husband, who was quite close she?d continue on, excited that the pups would see the lands for the first time. She couldn?t deny how much she enjoyed not having the pack to worry about either. She could focus on these children, the very last they?d get a chance to raise.
Suddenly Envoi was before them again, his eager expression telling her to pick up the pace. She?d giggle and lick his forehead, nuzzling him back to her side. "Do you like it out here Envoi?"
