The long yearling had been wandering for a while now, since his return to Alacritis. He just couldn't decide what to do with himself. Would he return to Glaciem? Or would he find another home? Where could a lone wolf really turn? If he joined another pack, would he face the same disappointment that he'd faced in Glaciem. Granted, his disappointment was based solely in the abandonment of his mother. He had needed her. No, perhaps he wouldn't go back. Besides, he had found some interesting things about the lands he was exploring. These hills were something new to explore, something Glaciem didn't have. The way the ground rose sharply and dipped as if someone had dug out all the duvets and turns. It was interesting enough to keep the pups attention. He plodded up and around the hills, his nose to the ground, not really paying attention to where he was going until felt himself bump into something and roll down the hill. Landing with a humph he pushed himself to his paws, shaking himself as he stood. What was that? He glanced about, a blush forming on his cheeks when he realized that the offending item was indeed a tree. A chuckle left him, and he glanced around. Hopefully no one had seen?

Depression caused her narrow shoulders to sag, her bright eyes were dull and lifeless, her coat has lost its sheen. She was pitiful looking. After joining Ebony, she had fall ill, the sickness nearly dragging her to the deepest pits of hell. By some miracle she had fought it back, to go down without a fight. But even worse than that, Ares had vanished. She had not seen hide nor hair of him, his scent had gone stale. He had abandoned her again. Though she was the first to go into hiding this time, not wanting to spread her sickness. With a broken heart, she had slipped unnoticed from the pack lands, wandering once more as she used to.

The paid no mind to where she was going, simply allowing her paws to carry her where they pleased. A lingering cough broke the silence, causing her to shudder. All she wished was for a simple, happy life. One with a mate, perhaps a family of her own, within a pack of wolves she knew and cared for. But it seemed fate had other ideas for her, plaguing her with hardships.

The woman would startled as the sound of thump breached her audits. About fifteen feet in front of her landed a boy. He was obviously to her presence, looking around himself in embarrassment. She would clear her throat, not wanting to startle him too much. A ghost of a smirk played on dark lips, as gentle eyes watched the boy. Nostrils quivered, not smelling a pack on his coat. He was younger than herself, but not so young that he couldn't fend for himself. "Are you okay?" Words were hoarse from lack of use, though still gentle.
