Emile didn't really know why he'd come here. He was out and about more now, the resurgence of the sun had at the very least started to drive the boy out instead of having him hole up in his nest on his floor. But he wasn't really getting much better than that, he still mostly avoided others, but instead of holing up in his room instead he simply felt more inclined to wander away from the pack lands for the day. He just didn't want to be seen, the scar around his eye itched uncomfortably when others seemed to look upon him.
Emile sighed as he moved through the shadows of the grove, at least it seemed peaceful, and maybe if he was lucky he could find something he could bring home to try and raise on his windowsill. Emile was honestly at his best when he was alone, surrounded by silence and plants. When he was alone he didn't have to worry about how much space he took up, if he was in the way, or if he annoying anyone. His stutter was unnoticeable when he didn't have to speak and his anxiety was at its lowest though it still buzzed in the back of his head.

Inoki had travelled further south than she ever had before, the warmth of the summer driving her to find a place that was a bit cooler, but not as snowy was the lands to the north. This new place seemed a tad cooler, but it was also so wet and dreary, and she had to admit it wasn't any better compared to the weather of the northern island. But she stuck around, figuring she may as well explore a few areas while she was there before she returned to the north again.
She soon found herself among a sort of fruit grove. It seemed like a nice peaceful place, even if her nose told her there were predators that occasionally drove through, likely after the small prey that feasted upon the berries that grew there. But there was one scent in particular that caught her attention, and she followed its trail where it weaved through the more obscure areas of the grove, making sure to step heavily on sticks and shrubs so the wolf wouldn't think she had a dastardly plan. But she was definitely following them, that was for sure.
