If You Can Dodge A Rock...

Morning always arrives too soon, especially when you don’t want it to. It isn’t that the gray girl isn’t looking forward to the training session she and Serenity have planned with Briar, it is just… she blinks the sleep from her eyes to find her face is pressed into Rudy’s chest, his strong legs wrapped around her to keep their bodies close and warm. With a sad sigh, Fern untangles herself from his embrace and gives the sleeping wolf a gentle kiss before grabbing her armor and retreating to the hallway. Puff follows her out, rubbing sleep from her tired eyes and yawning a huge yawn for such a small stoat. Stopping for a moment, Fern dons the armor and her stoat helps her with the buckles before settling comfortable onto the armor and curling up to nap.

With a roll of her eyes, the gray girl makes her way down the stairs and out into the courtyard, traveling quickly to the training grounds. Touches light the path and ring the arena, bathing the ground in flickering shadows. Darkness still has a firm grip over the sky and the air is chilly in the early hours for the morning. Once inside the ring, Fern allows Puff to slide down and find a nice place to nap before starting her stretches and waiting for the other ladies to arrive.
