So much had changed since her romp with the younger dark wolf in the willows, but when she caught the strangers scent again, Sedna didn’t hesitate in seeking it out. Sure she had a purpose on this night, the red glow of the crystals that sprouted beneath her eyes and in the thick fur on her neck making her appear all the more a deep sea predator, wending this way and that in search of small morsels that might be attracted to her new sparkle. The world seemed different from this high up too.

Her particular prey on this night wasn’t likely to lift up it’s roots and run, but she had remembered the way the girl’s face seemed to light up at the mention of poisons, and with her hormones being as haywire as they had been since Hanako’s recent litter, overcome with a desire to nurture and improve… Well if there was a willing student nearby, the least she could do was offer.

Oh how she loved this mangrove, particularly at night time where it glowed so brilliantly that she could only stop to marvel at it. She was back yet again, snuffling amongst the bushes to make the light dance all around, not a care in the world. Life was too precious to be worried all the time, and she took every opportunity to have some fun and be carefree whenever she could. Inoki thought she was alone, but with the shift of the wind the scent of someone vaguely familiar caught her attention, and she stopped what she was doing to look around.

Ears flicked forward, she stood as tall as her short legs would allow, until finally a wolf figure appeared. But they were... not someone she recognised. The fur was dark and fiery, with glowing crystals around the eyes and embedded in the thick neck fur. Inoki had never seen this wolf in her life, and yet the scent was so familiar. "I'm sorry do I... know you?" Her nose was scrunched up in confusion as she spoke, eyes squinting slightly as she looked over the large wolf. Something here was not quite right, and she just couldn't figure it out.
