Her brief time in the prairie had not taken away the restlessness, or the concerns. No, the gods were surely trying to get her attention. Well, they had it... they always did... so what did they want her to do? To see? Was it a warning of danger, or an order? It was not Katja's way to question her intuition or to try to interpret the gods, but this restlessness that was gnawing at her constantly was unnerving. It could have something to do with her oath to bring back Jaeger, or with her oath to Raisa... or neither. Or both.

It was infuriating, an unusual thing for the unflappable viking. It had her considering making the trek to the place called the battlefield to drown her restlessness in a fury of fangs and blood, but that would be tantamount to ignoring the gods - something Katja was simply incapable of doing.

So rather than that, or returning back to Ebony, Katja had merely moved her brooding elsewhere. Here, the cliffs where she'd had a disconcerting meeting with her other cousin Kapras?us. Yet another thing to add to her brooding... where had he disappeared to? Au?ra was gone as well, off somewhere recovering from losing a limb - she was strong, as a Finnvi should be, and Katja had no concerns about her. But it was beginning to feel disconcertingly that she was completely alone in these lands, a fact that had been driven painfully home by the Ebony pups' complete disregard for the gods.

A sharp sigh huffed between her teeth as she paced the clifftop.

"Speech."

Silver paws padded lightly across the ground, her ever curious gaze drifting this way and that as she moved along. It wasn't often any more that she would leave the Glaciem territory, but she had an itch to get out and stretch her legs. Of course, she would never leave her home without some real intention and as always she was constantly looking to hone her skills. With any luck she might be able to find someone to spar with her while she was out... maybe she would swing by the battlefield on her way back.

Each stride she took forward was long and smooth, her legs moving without much thought till she noticed a drop off in the land ahead of her. She slowed to a stop at the edge of the cliff, peering down over the edge. Her dark gray ears pointed forward with interest, emerald and ruby gaze looking down at the reflective waters at the bottom of the drop. The land was always interesting with all of its strange shapes and cut offs.

The wind shifted directions and a stranger's scent reached her, pulling her attention away from the cliff face. Lifting her head and turning her gaze, she spotted the dark colored fea a good distance away from her, the woman also looking out over the cliff. Athena turned and padded closer to the lone figure before stopping a few feet away. "Quite a drop, isn't it?" she asked conversationally, looking out at the drop once more.

The approach of another did not go unnoticed - one does not survive to make their living as a viking and a mercenary without developing their danger senses. Motion from the corner of her eye caught her attention and she gave a single glance down the cliff to the wolf there before outwardly turning her attention back to the water below... though she kept one ear flicked that direction to warn of any further movement.

Soon enough, the soft sound of approaching pawsteps drew her gaze back as the silvery-colored female moved closer. She stopped several steps away before speaking. Katja didn't spare a glance over the edge of the cliff; she had already seen it and saw no reason to take her eyes off the stranger. "Long, yes," she agreed, "but survivable." Did any young wolves of this land go leaping into the reflective water below, screaming wild battle cries and trusting the gods to keep them safe as they courted danger? It had never been Katja's way to indulge in such frivolous pursuits, but as a child she may have done the same had she lived here, just to conquer her fears.

The woman's eyes drew her attention, with the unusual dual coloring and Katja studied them with unabashed straightforwardness. Strange eyes, though she was hardly one to talk with her gold-flecked mercury gaze. Would equally strange shadows lurk in the mind behind them? "Why come you here?" The question was posed out of more than simple curiosity, but mild enough.

"Speech."
