Kuroki felt as though he'd been a bit of a cockbag lately, that he'd dragged Cel and Cy out this way only to leave 'em hanging as he went off and did his own thing. They were strong independent women who didn't need no man and yadda yadda ya, but Kuroki figured he might as well give em a little something. But what? He'd never really been the gift giving sort and wouldn't even know where to start or what they liked so....

He rummaged through his things in his chamber, pawing at blankets and furs as he piled them high making the most comfortable and plush bed in all of Boreas. He thought about stealing from his sisters to add to his collection but he figured it wouldn't be much of a gift if half of it was stolen, right? Instead, he took from the old temple shrine, piling furs and blankets atop his spine like a pack mule as he trudged his way back to the palace. Back and forth, fussing and fixing till even he had to resit the urge to flop face down into lap of luxury.

Yeah, he was forward as fuck by building the nest in his room, but what did it matter? Friends who cuddle puddled together, stayed together right?

Leaning his head out of his chambers' door frame, he cleared his throat.

"Cel! Cy! Get your asses in here!" There, that would do.

While Kuroki had been off doing god knows what, Celeste had taken some time to get close to Cyanide. When she wasn't moping about her fur taking its sweet time to grow back in, she'd been teaching Cy some easy phrases in Japanese. It had been fun to get to know the other girl and surprisingly, they were getting along just fine. Better than she'd hoped, actually. The chaotic spunk of Cy helped keep her moody thoughts away for the time being.

Having just come from the shore to clean off from some bird watching in the sand, a booming call to get her ass in there made her ear turn. Pausing, Celeste peered around the corner to see Oki's face sticking out from his room. Quirking a brow out of curiosity, she smiled softly. Sure, his words sometimes weren't always the softest, but she liked that about him. There was no beating around the bush with him around. "Yeah, in a moment!" The petite girl called out before turning to quickly rush off to one of the washrooms. Really, she didn't need to get all cleaned up for him, but she figured at least washing the sand off would be polite.

Once her paws and legs were free from any debris, she made her way over to Oki's room. Peering inside with her aquamarine eyes, she saw the large, fluffy, and luxurious appearing pile of furs. She could tell he had spent some time on it and a smile flicked over her ivory lips. Was this what he wanted to show them or was there a different surprise in store for them? Glancing over to Oki as she stepped all the way inside the room, she held herself back from wandering over to rest on the furs. "You beckoned?" She asked as her attention turned to Oki, her heart fluttering just slightly.

Celeste Akizora

Cy had taken to exploring like a duck to water. There were so many things to see, so many places to go. It wasn't just one island-- a whole archipelago. All of them. Cyanide wanted to know all of them, to see all of the things that they had to offer. So what if Oki was busy? She hadn't expected him to babysit the entire time, and she was just as happy to find things to do on her own. Not only that, there was the fact that Celeste had been trying to teach her their mother tongue. That shit was hard, and it had brought a new respect for them. Oki's call came ringing out when Cy was exploring on her own. Shit why was he so loud? It wasn't just for Cy, but for Celeste too... what was he planning? A few brambles clung to her coat as she crashed through, brow quirking as she crossed towards his room. There was really no telling what he wanted, calling both girls to his bedroom. Still... well, best she find out, right? Curiously, she closed the gap between them. "What's up?" She greeted casually, looking from Celeste to Oki. Did she know what was up? Did they ever know what was up, really? Still, a relaxed smile clung to her lips, and she was doing her best to look calm and well adjusted despite being... at least a little confused. What was he planning?

Kuroki shifted his weight back and forward, dipping in and out of the doorway with each sway. Since he didn't really give either one of them a choice, they both arrived on the scene in record time. With his tail wagging high behind him, he dipped down into a chivalrous bow and stuck out a front paw to gesture for them to come on in. To make themselves at home and all that jazz.

Standing straight, he was practically thrumming with anticipation. For such an impromptu gift he thought he'd done pretty well, right?

"Ta daaa!" He cheered, grinning so wide his cheeks began to ache. "So so, I figured since you're both new here and all you ought to sleep somewhere real comfy, and enjoy proper Ashen hospitality. I like having you both around and-" the urge to trail off with bla bla bla was mounting. "Well go on, test it out! Plenty of room and all."

Appreciation showed right?

She could watch his theatrics all day. The way he swept into a bow and showed them flattered her. Up until this moment, Celeste didn't really have an idea of how much Oki cared about her. Sure, he had saved her from the elements and given them a home. They'd spent some time together, but she'd also spent her own time convincing herself that the crush she had on him wasn't that serious. He had brought another girl with them and at first, it was annoying, but she'd quickly gotten over it. Especially after finding out that there was a possibility that she and Cy could be good friends.

As he grinned from ear to ear and showed off the pile of fur that made up the huge bed, she couldn't help but smile back at him. Letting her tail wag happily, she could feel the density of its new growth. How odd. Anyway, no time to admire herself. "Ohhh Oki, you're so kawaii!" She couldn't help but blurt the word out as she rushed closer to him. Well, this was different. God, was she always going to act like a love-sick school girl around him? Didn't matter, she was happy either way. Reaching up as much as she could on her tiptoes, she planted a big ol' kiss on his cheek with an extra lick at the end for good measure. She wasn't doing it to make Cy jealous, no. She just really couldn't resist.

Planting her paws back on the ground, she walked over to the bed and hopped in. Stretching out toward one side to leave room for the other two, Celeste snuggled in until she was comfortable. Looking up at the other two, she smiled somewhat sheepishly as her tail beat softly behind her. "Are you two gonna stand there all day or come take a nap?" She winked one eye at them before resting her chin down on her paws.

Celeste Akizora

His gesture was broad, and the bow low-- Cy couldn't help but giggle. He was a bit ridiculous, but that was to be expected. This was Oki after all, and it seemed like he was always a bit ridiculous. The bed was huge, and it looked awfully comfortable. There wasn't a time that she could ever recall even thinking about something this comfortable, really. The definition of opulence was something that had always escaped her... at least until now. Kawaii, the word that Celeste used. She recognized that one. Cyanide pretended she didn't see the kiss. Pretended albeit probably badly. For now, the wraith would ignore the way her heart squeezed in her chest, the way that she was maybe just a little sick with the feeling. A show of intimacy like that, can't relate. Nah, she'd busy herself with examining the bed, gently setting her chin down on the soft furs. Don't let it get to you. She wouldn't. She couldn't. She was shaken from her own thoughts with Celeste's words, and Cy allows herself to break back into the lazy grin. Without another thought on the matter, she took a couple steps back and then a long, launched leap. "Incoming!" A shout, a giggle. The wraith rolled about in the comfortable pile of furs, kicking her legs, getting comfortable as she burrowed in. "Gotta say it, Oki, you've outdone yourself." It was comfortable, and she couldn't help but be pleased. Quite the gesture, really. "Don't let that go to your head, though." A wink. Hell knew, it already had.

Kuroki's ears flicked sideways like aeroplane wings, kawaii? Him? Well, he supposed there were worse things to be called and it was nice to be appreciated every once in a while, yanno? Cel leaned up to plant a kiss on the length of his muzzle and so naturally he leaned down to chomp her in the middle. Just cause he could and biting was fun, as long as no skin was broken of course. Following his ladies lead, he joined them as he flopped down onto the bedding, legs tumbling as he rolled onto his side. There was plenty of room for them all, no one was being foisted into the corner with only their front half hanging on for dear life. He'd made sure everyone was to be treated equally here, both Cel and Cy deserved a treat. And maybe even Oki too.

"Too late Cy." He confirmed, stretching a limb out to poke her carefully with the curved side of his claw. "Starting to make my head hurt a little, wanna smooch it better?" He wiggled his brows, being a pest just for the sake of it.

The bed was so soft, so comfy, she could stay here forever. Even as Cy came to launch herself on the other side of the bed, Celeste tried not to feel that twinge in her belly. You know, jealousy. That raging green monster that so often was huge and ugly. Very ugly, but she tried her best to tamper it down. She could share, right? There was more than enough Oki to go around for both her and Cy. Yes, more than enough. It was new to her, sure, of course. Even having feelings for someone was new to her. Maybe even Oki would be okay to share the bed with others if there was enough room.

Lost in thought as Oki himself came to sprawl out between them, her eyes flicked over to Cy. His posing question to her kissing his head made her curious. Would Cy do it? Would she play his games of him being a pest? Surely they could all learn how to share. She would hold her tongue for now, but it was tempting to make a snarky comment back. If Cy wasn't going to take her chance, Celeste would take it.

Celeste Akizora

Ah yes, a little time to relax and goof off, as a treat. Cyanide could guess that was probably okay... maybe probably okay. Right, okay, she liked the idea of taking some time. Though she was ambitious as the day was long, she maybe also enjoyed this time to relax more than she cared to admit. More than she'd ever care to admit, especially out loud. And there was Oki, running his mouth again. "I coulda only figured as much," a dramatic eye roll to boot. Wanna smooch it better... shit. Okay yes she wanted to but like... Cy bit her lip, but ah what the hell. First thought best thought. "In your dreams!" Unable to contain the little bit of snarky energy, Cy acted as if she was going to shut down his advance. Still, she leans over to close the gap, a kiss on the side of Oki's muzzle. Right. Right, it was good enough for the moment. Cyanide would pretend that it hadn't made her feel weird inside, and not a bad weird either. The kind of weird that... shoot. It was the kind that left her heart feeling just a bit of a squeeze. Nah, she'd never let either of them know that the whole thing had her heart in a vice. She'd simply ride it out and enjoy the moments as they came. She straightened up with a wink and settled back into the blankets, pleased with herself. Excellent. Cy was pleased with herself-- in her mind, she'd made his dreams come true. That's how it worked, right?
