With a net in maw, Hattori meandered along the beach. Claws and limbs jabbed at the nets mesh, bodies wriggling and kicking against one another as the bag swayed gently in Hattori's grip. This wasn't his usual means of gathering food for the pantry, but he knew that variety was the spice of stuff. Or at least that's how he thought the saying went, in the common tongue at least.

The ocean breeze rolled in, filling the Kaicho's nose with salty brine and seaweed. The tide was out and kicked up a stink, but even beyond that he could smell Fenmyre in the distance. Thus far Tojo hadn't had much interaction with the outside world and Hattori was more than content for things to remain this way, they weren't bothering anyone so why would they take offence to them in turn?

The Ooze ParticipantThe Ooze - Variation 3

"A little far away from your pack lands, aren't you?" The small, slate and cream girl fixed her dual shaded eyes upon the fishing brute. He looked like a fish and Scylla knew exactly who he was, having heard others speak of him. Besides that, he held a scent that was similar to that of her cousin, Ikigai. The pale girl had shared her anger at the man and Scylla quite liked her cousin. They both had delicate little grabby hands, after all.

Scylla wasn't afraid of the man. She wasn't afraid of much of anything, aside from bears. A little PTSD from her last run in with one that left her with a nice set of shoulder scars. She was still a little sore in the joint there, but Erystotle and her mother assured her that it would eventually fade away. She was out exercising her sore muscles when she came across the spotted brute. Although, could she call him spotted? She had more spots than he did. Patchy? Speckled? Who cared...

The girl's long tail hissed across the sand and rocks behind her as she stood at the edge of one of the tide pools. "What are you doing out here anyway?" Did he feel bad for what he did? Had he needed to get away for a while like her Aunt Venom when she came to visit? The almost yearling stared at him, waiting for some sort of response.

"Scylla Klein"
Scylla should be seen as a very adult character who will indulge in acts that others may find graphic and uncomfortable. Steer clear if you don't like this sort of thing.

Hattori watched the pup for a moment as he lowered his bag. He had little interest in herding stray children back home and as long as he didn’t bring harm to them he saw it to be none of his concern. Not that he’d ever really care to do such a thing, even now it was beneath him. A waste of breath and effort better spent on something else. He made a point of blinking, as though only just remembering to do so. It had been quite some time since he’d last interacted with someone outside of his clan, but he supposed it was to be expected at some point or another. If he left the southern tip of Auster he was bound to run into strangers, pack wolves and loners alike.

It was a little far, he could admit that. But the walk had been pleasant enough, Auster weather agreeable when it wasn’t sweltering out.

”Crabs are a delicacy where I am from. I knew this place had many.” His common tongue had gotten rougher around the edges from less use, but he was understandable enough. Not as though he was fresh off the proverbial boat, umming and ahing as he struggled to find the right word. Or one close enough.

He sniffed, her scent familiar enough to what he’d once caught on the breeze. Carried over the ocean from an island he didn’t care to visit.

”You are Siren’s yes?” Were he more polite he would have enquired to know if she was well, but truth be told he didn’t care. Didn’t know the woman in any sense of the word, aside from smell and an idea of her pale coat.
