Fish a little, fish for me

Ara was competitive, and lately there had been a lot of kills brought into the packs stores. Seeing it gave her an itch to do better, hunt more, and be responsible for bringing in a large chunk of the food that would sustain the pack through the winter.
Pacing to the border, she looked out at the rogue lands and considered her options. She had had some luck with deer lately, but what about something different? They were a beach side pack. She could bring in a boat load of fish, if she tried.
Grinning at the sudden idea, she raised her head and let out a soft howl, an open invitation for another pack member to help her with some hunting.

Chade loved hunting, was proud of his abilities in it and hardly a day would go by where he didn’t find time to hunt both for work and pleasure. He had left the island a bit ago and had been planning to make his way to the mountains but stopped on hearing the howl. Swift, his cheetah who was growing up fast, was with him. The last signs of the baby cheetah fuzz were fading away to leave something slick and elegant in its place.
The two approached Naraca and Chade gave her a grin. “I was about to go hunting also. Happy to help catch anything. I had been thinking of sheep but its fine if you wanted something else.” One had to have a special mindset to want to go where the sheep were. It wasn’t about being hard to kill a sheep, it was the hunting on that mountain that was the trick. One could say it was treacherous walking up there much less chasing down prey.
Chade thought it was the best so far in forms of fun. Still, any hunting could be fun and it served a serious purpose.

She grinned at the blue wolf who answered her call. His quick approach to her boded well for her hunt, she thought. Someone with equal enthusiasm as her own to put towards the job. “Sheep, bah! I want some meat without having to get through all that fur.” she teased, though she would be happy to go after sheep any other time - or if he managed to convince her. “I was thinking about fish. If we create a net, we could likely get a good haul if we find a good place in the sea to place it. Have you ever made a net before?” she asked him hopefully.
She could probably figure something out, but it would take longer if she had to make and design it from scratch.

Fish? Chade didn’t bother with fish much these days. Back when Ry and he was small fish had been one of the first things the desperate pup had found some success with after many failed attempts. Certainly, in the beginning, a net hadn’t come to mind but necessity creates inspiration. "Ripping the fur and skin off is part of the fun."
“Welll….” Chade drawled out, “I’ve never made a net, but I made something that caught fish.” Chade sat down glancing out to the sea, “I haven’t tried catching the fish out there. I don’t know if it's any different than catching lake fish. So, if you know how to make a net we can go about it that route. I’m curious how you make them.”
Chade had tried learning how to make numerous things on his own a few seasons back with a mix of success and failures. He imagined it would be more of a tedious thing than hard but maybe there were tricks to it to make it easier or problems he hadn’t thought up that would need to be dealt with.

“Alright, lets see if we can get a net together” she decided as he agreed to fish and asked if she could get a net together. Curious how to do so. She’d hope to have a faster starting point, but that was okay. She could improvise.
Thinking quickly, she lead him back towards the island, and eyes the trees for a moment. “Lets yank down those vines keep them rightly entangled, and see if that would work?” she suggested. Reaching up to the parts of a tree she could reach as she began to yank down some vines. She was sure with more tie she could come up with something more permanent, but this might work for a one shot deal.
