Unless he was needed over in the maze, one would find Kuroo at the bay. Now that he and his brother had settled in, it felt as if they were seeing less and less of each other. Something about Usagi's demeanor had changed and made him curious about his brother. Nevertheless, he knew better than to pry into his brother's mind as he would only be met with nasty looks and over-dramatic eye rolls. Thinking of Usagi did bring a smile to his lips since his brother would always be his brother, but there were also other things to tend to.

Breaking just over the horizon, stars littered the sky to greet the morning sun hello. Guided by the moon to the beach, he knew he had arrived right on time. The water spreading out across the bay was quiet and calm. Hardly a ripple disturbed the surface. Knowing the net would be full and ready to drag in, Kuroo got to work. Moving along the shore toward the other side so he could release the anchor, he began wading into the water until he was effortlessly swimming. One might think of him as an aquatic creature with how at ease he felt in the water.

Concentrating on the task at hand, Kuroo would hardly notice if anyone approached the shore.
