Wari considered herself quite.. knowledgeable as far as she could tell. She soaked up information wherever she went, from every conversation, even ones that the youth wasn't necessarily involved in. In truth, she loved learning, though whether it was learning for the sake of learning, or learning so that she would be able to one up her siblings, only time would tell.
Unfortunately, in her quest for knowledge the youth found she'd garnered some questions of her own, questions that went unsolved and unspoken to her thus far. It was with one particular question, and perhaps a few proxy questions, the koi-spotted cub took off in search of her father, somehow certain that he would hold the answer to her query.
"Da?" She called once his scent grew strong in the air.

Raijin, somehow, had managed to finally finish their hut. He’d also created a small kitchen area for them outside, with a good sized grilling area for sizzling meat or making a nice stew. He’d decided that day that they were going to treat the children to a traditional japanese meal of a savory miso soup, rice, and meat glazed with teriyaki sauce. He was hovering around the grill when one of his daughters came to him. He paused, turning to find Himawari toddling toward him. It continued to amaze him how quickly his children were growing, and how much he could see of both he and Sedna in them as they progressed. Wari had his saber teeth and his bobbed tail, as well as the koi-like markings, but the colors were all Sedna and her side.
“Wari! What’re you up to, kiddo?” he asked, his signature grin lighting up his face and crinkling his golden gaze as his nubbed tail gave a little wiggle. He met her halfway, pulling her in for a solid hug and pressing a kiss to her forehead before pulling away and watching her with curiosity. She was always full of questions, he wondered what it would be today.

Wari's dark nose crinkled in mock irritation as her father pulled her in and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Aw, come on, dad." She squealed, making a show of pawing his muzzle away and wiping her head. Though she by no means disliked her parent's affections, she couldn't be seen enjoying them. Her siblings would never let her hear the end of it, Beru most of all.
But there were more important matters, a lesson of sorts, and one that she felt her father might be better suited to give. "Da, what happens when we die?" Though it was an important question, the girl was still too young to fully grasp it's weight, so when she asked, her tone was more akin to asking someone what they had for lunch than it was to anything even remotely deep or philosophical.

Hima made a show of squealing and wiping off his slobbery kiss, causing the man to grin even more widely. How he’d helped produce such adorable little beings he would never understand, but he was happy to be a part of their lives regardless.
Then, his pup jumped right into it, causing the man to pause and his jaw to open in shock. That hadn’t been what he was expecting at all. Was she even old enough to be curious about that? He tried to remember if he had been at her age, but he was far too old to think so far back. He blinked, a rumbling hum vibrating in his chest as he thought, but also to clear his throat of surprise. “Well, there are lots of different thoughts on that and no one is necessarily wrong. I can tell you about what we think, back where I’m from. But what made you think about this?” he asked, curious golden eyes looking at the small pink pup.
