Coming off her win against Gossamer had instilled inside the horned queen a variety of mixed feelings. She was both proud and surprised to have won, though the vanquished being her own daughter had made the victory a bit more bittersweet. Gossamer needed the win more than she did, and while Zee had no intention on taking it easy on the young Fatalis (who would have likely realized she had been handed a win, and lost even more confidence) she had wished to see Goss come up on top. Giving her daughter a sad, apologetic smile, she stepped out of the ring and moved towards the next. This wolf was one she'd never seen before, though on first sight it was clear to see the culture Yaeume had come from. Her pink pelt was spotted with the familiar koi patterns that had flooded Boreas and Auster years prior, and from the scent lingering upon her Zee guessed she belonged to Hattori's new venture. Thankfully there would be no conflicting feelings in this match, not like being placed up against one of her own. She sized up the other woman with a careful eye, recognizing the size and strength advantage her opponent had over her, but it was rare Zee had a match against a wolf her own size. If anything, she was more comfortable fighting a titan than one who could match her speed and agility. "Greetings." She dipped her head briefly in acknowledgment before shifting her weight, sliding into a practiced combat stance. Zee awaited her opponent to look equally prepared - unwilling to start the fight off unfairly with an element of surprise - and then bolted forward. Her fighting style had always involved getting off the first strike, taking advantage of her lithe form and the agility it granted her to get an early and unanticipated attack in rather than go blow for blow with a wolf who could clearly overpower her. She ran in to Yaume's right side, body curved in anticipation if the dire wolf struck out in response, and aimed to jut inwards at the last moment to jab at the woman's ribs with her spiraled kudu horns. Well her first match didnt go as she was hoping, but she bowed her head still in respect towards the wolf she had fought. He was cute and she hoped to see him again. She marched to the next which was also an small wolf, but size never bothered her seeing worth in everyone outside of size or age, anyone could win, it was just matter of skill and luck or both. And today she was here to use all she knew to do her best, and wining or not she was ready and set to try to win. She prepared aswell, having her claws as her only weapon and bulk. Eyes of blue narrowed, preparing for whatever the older woman would do.

She lowered her body, ears pinned as her paws were spread for better balance, and there is when the woman change suddenly of direction, and with a keen eye Yume aimed to arch her body towards her attacker, jaws wide she aimed to bite in one of Zee's horns, using the chance when they hit her side, then she would aim to rise her left forepaw with tiger like claws out, as she would attempt to swipe them horizontally through Zee's right side of the face.

After her fight with Gossamer, the knowledge that her thorn wrappings were not protectively encasing her mutation was fresh in her mind. It seemed there were few wolves who would not go for the bait of trying to control her head, and the grab was something Zee was expecting - this time. As Yaume's jaws came around one spiraled horn (the right one? I think that'd be the one she could reach), Zee ducked and then twisted her head abruptly over her left shoulder. Her hope was to take advantage of the moment before the wolf's jaws could find a secure purchase upon the twisted keratin, aiming to twist it out of the dire wolf's mouth and hopefully manage a slice on the inside of her cheeks as it did so. The movement also served to dodge the brunt of the dangerous tiger claws upon her face, though the change in the positioning of her neck redirected the painful hit to slash instead across her neck nearer to her spine.
