Manea

Aslatiel had given birth to her child and, after a few days of rest, sent Ashur out to inform Manea. There were a few things that she and the purple woman needed to speak about. Soon the pack would be down several members as she and her family would be leaving to join her little brother's pack so that they could help him build... whatever it was that he wanted to build.
Aia was waddling about a small, enclosed space, chewing on various toys and just being a dopey little puppy. Asla lay just outside the low enclosure. She'd erected the little pen so that she could tidy up the cave while Indigo was out working with the pack. With the tidying done, the fawn woman decided not to bother her well occupied daughter. Perhaps the girl would be content while the women spoke.

The snow leopard that came to fetch her wasn't entirely a surprise. She knew Aslatiel had been due any day now to give birth and the very active woman hadn't been seen doing patrols for several days so Manea had a sense that the birth had happened. She let her have her privacy and time to rest, but was happy to be invited to the cave Asla and her family had been using by the woman's companion. She made her way there after finishing up her usual "business" meeting with Avacyn and after a short walk through the mountain range she found Asla resting in front of the den.
Inside she heard the distinctive squeak and shuffle of a toddling pup and her chest swelled with happiness, a grin pulling across her lips as she walked up with gentle wags of her tail. "It sounds like congratulations are in order," she said with a chuckle, peeking past Asla to the little fluff of purple that seemed to be fairly well contained for the time being. "Everything go smoothly?" she asked as her aqua gaze refocused on Asla and she settled down on her haunches in front of her. Asla looked like she was feeling well so she assumed so, but she still liked to ask. Pups were always a source of joy to her and being a mother was something that she drew most of her motivation from so even others around her having children made her extremely happy.
