Recollection of what happened dissipated before he could even open his eyes. Water-clogged lungs hacked and sputtered as he felt the broil of the sun overhead. His nose twitched with the scent of heady grass and possibly freshwater... Lids fluttered a few times, blinking away grains of sand, as he attempted to lift his head. Sprawled out, lanky legs in an awkward position, it was obvious that he had been crawling for some time before he collapsed. His eyesight was still blurry as he managed to lean up enough to peek above the shifting grass surrounding him.

A few rabbits, possibly some deer, but none of his kind. His brow furrowed slightly. Where was he? Just last night, he had been sharing some home-brewed moonshine with a couple of buddies before he blacked out. After their frolic with the cattle, he couldn't remember a single thing. Had the cattle kicked him that hard? Slowly, his senses drew back to him as he scrambled to shaky legs and looked around frantically. Around his neck, his waterlogged bandana still hung looking rather worse for wear. His other items were nowhere to be seen. Scowling as he swore under his breath, he spotted two lumps not far off.

Barely breathing and waterlogged themselves, two goats lay unconscious near him. "Rootin'? Tootin'?" Cassius whispered as he took a few tentative steps toward the small goats. Their feeble bleats told him they were at least alive. Mildly concerned that he was missing a goat, he figured he could look for Scootin' once he got his bearings about him. Letting out a deep sigh, Cass shook out his coat and took another glance around. Sunk into the bottom of a basin with a pool of water not far off, he squinted up at the sun. Where in the world was he?

He definitely wasn't in Kansas anymore...

You're not feeling so well...

Bellamy had been traveling deeper into Boreas, her companions somewhere close by most of the time. The woman had no idea where the true end destination was for her wanderings. The woman just wanted to cover as much ground as she could with the hopes that maybe, just maybe, she might be able to find others who were willing to follow her. The idea of trying to lead a pack was beginning to grow on her more and more, and the dark-furred woman found herself smiling at the idea that she might be able to take care of her little ones not just as a pack member, but a pack leader. Her baby bump would take a while yet to fully develop and reveal if she was having a small or large litter, not that it bothered her if she ended up with a small or large litter.

The woman had made her way into the basin, though she wasn’t sure it was such a good idea by the time she made her way in there. Her ears flicked back slightly as she padded deeper within, uncertain, and she scanned the terrain for signs of other predators or prey alike. It took some time, but eventually she caught wind of a stranger… and goats? This was curious. The woman decided to check it out, soon finding them. It seemed they were a trio of sorts. Bellamy approached cautiously, not wanting to startle the prey animals, and could hear the scrambling of her own companions as they trailed along after her.

“Are you all alright?” She asked, not wishing ill upon any of them.

"Speech" 'Thought.'

Mental health (particularly depression and anxiety) is extremely bad. Currently unable to handle IC conflict or conflict between characters, pack related or individual. I am struggling to post even simple things and will not be able to continue with thread if approached. Sorry for the inconvenience but I just can't right now.

Bellamy has two companions - a Tasmanian devil and an American badger. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.
