This land is ours. Lets make it great

Kotori sat amongst the lush grass. It was summer but seemed to be a mild one thus far and with the sun still rising along with a nice breeze blowing through the trees the temperature was just about perfect. At least it felt perfect in Kotori’s mind.
Kotori had set up a stone that raised up about three feet off the ground with a flat surface to be the front of his meeting spot. Midway down the imagined circle two larger stones with rounded tops marked the diameter of the circle. It was a rather simple setup with no fanfare other than Kotori’s spot being a bit off the ground but it would do for now. As the pack land got more built up Kotori would probably want something more showy. He liked showing off.
The Sumatar of Valta howled a call for the members of his pack. A large number of the wolves that had joined were family. He had no doubt they would work and do their share with Kotori needing to urge but they still needed to know the plans that he had for the pack to know what needed to be done. Roles would still be announced in case any did not know what the others did.
There was a party coming up and the pack land would need to be ready in time. The last thing they wanted was to make a bad impression. His mind roamed to other details that were coming up. Yes, there were matters his pack needed to know about. A great future lay in wait for them.

The time Tove had been waiting for quickly arrived and Kotori has established his pack. It is strange, being among others again and the scarred woman tries to keep to herself as much as possible. She knows that her appearance while inevitably lead to questions and the older wolf is not ready to share her story over and over again. Because of this and her general inability to speak without pain, the scarred wolf has thrown herself into patrolling the newly established borders as much as possible.
That is where Kotori’s call finds her, along the furthest border and her ears swivel backward to where the call originated from. There is no hesitation as Tove immediately turns around, legs pulling her into a lope as she crosses the distance. She only slows as she approaches the meeting area, quickly casting her duel-toned gaze around and finding only Kotori is here. Panic swells in her chest as she realizes that she will not be able to hide herself among others.
She has fought predators along Kotori, faced death head on and came out alive, so this should be easy. Forcing herself to swallowing down the nervousness, Tove dips her head in a respectful greeting to her Alpha before moving to take a seat at what she considers to be a good distance. Haunches fold as she scans the area, making sure that there is room in front of her to allow the noble born to sit closer to Kotori while still allowing her to hear and see everything that he will say. Satisfied, she looks around, looking to spy the other wolves as they arrive.
Tove is heavily scarred on her face, neck, and shoulders. Please note that none of her art depicts them but they are there.

The winged wolf had taken some time to settle in with his Koi mate. He felt a little like he and Hika were constantly getting dragged from one home to another lately, but he was proud of Kotori and what he had achieved. His younger brother had worked hard for this, showing the world his ambition tendencies which seemed to often run true in the Fatalis family.
With Hika at his side, they answered the call. Heading towards the meeting point Kotori had carved out. He glanced at the slightly raised dais and the wolf that stood upon it, nodding his head to his brother before taking a seat beside Hika. he was curious what direction this pack would take, and knew he would do his best to support his brother on it.

Being in a family pack again was going to take some getting used to for the nomadic man. Indigo was used to taking the lead himself or following Aslatiel’s path. He’d figured himself an outcast after his decision to follow his heart, but it felt good to have the support of his blood when Kotori took up the mantle of alphaship and sought he and his small family out. Still settling in, the task wasn’t so hard when most of his time was spent with Aia. Training her and raising her was the greatest challenge of his life, and he wouldn’t have traded her for all the riches of the land.
Massive dark paws carried him to where Kotori set up their meeting place. Everywhere he looked were the ancient remnants of the civilization that lived here previously. Indy found a massive oak tree at the edge of the rapids, a beautiful place with a beautiful view where he could focus on his own family. Really, living under Ko was everything he wanted. The burdens of leadership rested on his littler brother’s shoulders, but that was why Indy was here. To help his brother grow and flourish in this place.
He lifted blue eyes to Kotori’s form, and lowered himself to his haunches nearby, Aia hiding in his mane as they waited for the meeting to begin.

Hika was settling in to Valta quite well, but he had always told Mortis that he was home wherever his love was. He had swiftly taken a much better liking to the lands by the river than the Armada’s new home. Even in the summer months he could tell how much warmer these lands were. He enjoyed his cloak from sweet Mortis, but he would be glad to use it less than daily living further south.
The koi remained at Mort’s side as he led the way to the meeting area. He bumped his shoulder against the tall man’s leg as they walked, playful in his actions. He couldn’t hide the grin on his features as they walked together either. This was like a whole new start of their life together, and Hika was eager to see what the future would hold.

Arcturus had been worried about where his family might go or what might keep them together when it came time for them to leave Elysium, but the founding of his uncle's pack seemed to happen at just the right time. It came them a place to settle that would keep their family together, he'd get to be around more of his family again which he was happy to do, and with the sudden upheaval of Vanille's old home it gave him a place to offer to her that he felt was safe for them both. Part of him wished that he could have spent more of his childhood around some of his extended family, but he understood what his mother had wanted for them and had enjoyed the traveling and exploration they had done together.
When Kotori called them together for a meeting he looked up from the work he was doing on his and Vanille's den. It was the first time in a long time that he had a permanent place to live and the first time that he was going to actually sharing a space with Vanille for more than a night here and there so he wanted to make it nice for the two of them. It was easy enough though to put his project down and wash off his paws in the nearby river before trotting away from the land by the falls over to where the rest of the pack was gathering by the rapids. When he got there he saw that three of his uncles were already there—Kotori of course, Indigo, and Mortis. He had very vague memories of Mortis from his early childhood, but it was hard to forget the winged man. The koi-spotted man beside him felt familiar as well, but not as familiar as Mortis. Regardless, he gave Mortis a grin before going to sit near Indigo while keeping an eye out for Vanille and the rest of their family.

Aslatiel had done exactly what she had set out to do when she left the Armada oh so long ago. She had traveled with her children, taking them to different parts of the world with different terrains. She'd taught them how to survive. How to live on their own without the protection of a pack. Realistically, Arcturus and Satira should be two of the toughest, most self sufficient wolves to share the Fatalis blood. Now that they were two and quite full grown, they were free to make their own decisions in life. They no longer need to follow the narrative that she'd written for them thus far. They could continue wandering as loners if they wished and Asla would feel no fear for them as she had prepared them for such a life. They could also choose to join their uncle Kotori's pack alongside her, Indigo and their younger sister. Aslatiel wanted nothing but the best for her children and she trusted that they were both strong and smart. Still, she was quite relieved when they decided to join Valta as well. Kotori called a meeting, releasing his howl for the small pack. Asla dusted off her paws, having been sprucing up a long abandoned den. This one wasn't for her or her family, she was simply prepping spares in the event that they found more wolves to join that would need places to stay. Guest dens, perhaps. Either way, they would be put to good use. Padding towards the rest of the group, Asla shot a grin towards Mort and Hika, the scars on the side of the woman's face crinkling with the action. A nuzzle was placed upon Arc's cheek, though she had to stretch to get there. She then went and lay on her belly beside Indigo, noting that Aia was curled up in his mane, like always. The girl was very much his daughter. Asla had simply created her. The woman then gave her little brother her full attention. This first meeting was quite a momentous occasion for him. "Aslatiel"

Vanille was struggling to settle fully into the pack but it was from her long, young life of solitude. She may have put too much expectation on herself, not just for the pack but for Arcturus too. It was all a new experience for her and she wasn't quite the boisterous type. So while she was happy to be here with Arcturus and get to know his family a little more, she wasn't bounding around like a social butterfly. Hopefully she didn't come off too wrong to the others.
As Kotori had called them together, she made her way to the gathering and immediately found her way beside Arcturus and the rest of his family. She was quiet in doing so, but she could glance up at him with a tiny smile as she settled down and waited for Kotori to start the meeting.

Satira was late for the meeting. Tiny speckled paws carried her swiftly from the neighboring waterfalls to the rapids to join the rest of her family and new pack. When Asla had told her and Arcturus that she, Uncle Indigo, and their half-sister were going to be joining their Uncle Kotori's new pack, she hadn't been sure what she wanted to do. A part of her still craved that wanderlust, the freedom of adventure, of seeing new sights and trying everything! But another part of her longed for something familiar, comfortable... home. So she had joined Valta with the hopes that this might be the one thing she had always missed in her life. Stability and consistency. A place that would be wholly hers, where she could decorate and collect and rest her head every night. At least, that's what she was hoping for.
Arriving upon the gathering, Satira shot her Uncle Kotori an apologetic look, then stepped over to nuzzle her brother and mother's shoulders in greeting. Being the independent little devil she was, Tira wandered off to lie on her own near, but not beside the rest of her family. Pale blue eyes landed on Kotori while she crossed her speckled paws, waiting for him to begin. Thankfully it looked like she hadn't missed anything yet.
