The yearling had never been to Auster before today… and he hadn’t ever expected that he might have to. Beau had thought, when he joined Menagerie, it would be around for his lifetime, that he’d be part of it for his lifetime, but… Things had changed. He started to not feel right during the festival and had left it… and now? Now Wren, as well as several other wolves from other packs, were gone. There had been signs of foul play and guilt ate at Beauregard. Had he been more attentive, if he hadn’t left, could he have protected them? Could he have saved Wren from being taken, or possibly killed? There was no telling, no bodies had been discovered by their packmates, but Wren was gone, Menagerie had dissolved, and now he and Tanelan were loners again… The only silver lining was the fact that he and Tanelan would stick together, wherever they went from here on out. So, for now, Beau wanted to search for what options they might have had for a pack. He had thought about the Armada but… he was worried that it would remind him of Menagerie too much. No, he and Tanelan would need to seek refuge elsewhere… but where? There were multiple packs across Boreas and Auster… surely there would be some pack that would give them a home. Maybe they would be here in Auster, give them a new start… it seemed that the lands here were already opposite, being in Winter instead of Summer, so maybe it would be fitting. Padding across the snow-covered landscape Beauregard entered an area that seemed to have a smattering of stone littered across the ground of a cleared area. Woodland surrounded the area, but the clearing seemed to be once choked with herbs of all sorts, at least before it snowed. They were crushed underneath the snow, covered until Auster’s spring returned. His blue gaze swept the area quietly, taking in the landscape. It seemed peaceful, undisturbed, and, for the moment at least, it appeared Beauregard was alone. "Talk, 'Think.' |

Snows fell in Auster but they weren't unbearable. Especially on the island where Fenmyre was founded. Out here though, there was a bit of the white powder littering the ground. It would make his search just dandy. Aliana had asked the man to find and obtain a certain herb and told him where to find it, but... how was he supposed to find something covered in snow? Maybe he should just cut across the land and see if Artorias had some stashed away. That would most likely be easier than this.
One big paw brushed some snow away from the ground, half heartedly looking. All of these damn things looked the same... With a low growl of irritation, Chimera thumped down into the snow, sending up a shower of the white powder. As it filtered back to the ground, the two-toned behemoth noted the approach of another. A young wolf, though large. It seemed as though the boy was traveling on his own. The brute raised his voice just a bit as he spoke, allowing it to cross the distance between them. "Be wary, lad. Hungry bears frequent this place." Especially after he pushed them all out of the falls.
Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.
