It had been forever since she'd been to Auster. She had cut clear across the continent, skirting the pack territories that seemed to flank one another and she had paused at both the borders of the Hallows and Fenmyre to watch just how active they were. Hallows seemed to have many wolves patrolling, the other pack, however, not as much. Maybe they were too busy on that island she saw over yonder, but whatever the case, she moved on from her minor spying and continued on her way until she spotted some interesting-looking caves. They looked dark and mysterious, and she was always interested in dark and mysterious things!

The skeletal marked woman didn't hesitate to make her way into the cave, but little did she know that the gases in here would have an effect on her. It was dark in here, but that didn't stop her. Her companions left scent markers along the walls (when she hadn't even thought to do that!) She wasn't sure for how long she'd been in here or how deep she had gone, but somehow she had gotten turned around and each passage seemed to take her in circles or into some completely different area. She kept going though, her mind unable to make the decision that perhaps she should find her way out, but that wasn't her fault. The gas wafting through the cave was undetectable, and she had no idea that it was starting to cause her to see things that weren't there.

She rounded another bend and- wait...was that tree there before? She thought trees needed sunlight...and there was definitely no sunlight here. Humming to herself, she sat down beneath this tree and gazed around the darkness. She heard something then, and it was neither of her companions. "Medusa can hear you!" Her voice echoed, but nothing answered her. She waited a bit longer, then she heard someone talking. No. Whispering? As she looked towards the source, she spotted someone disappearing down a path, and of course, she followed. She followed further into the cave, darkness enveloping her and the hallucinations growing stronger.

She finally found whoever was making the sounds and whispering. It was another wolf. His voice was masculine, and she assumed his pelt was as black as night because all she could see were the starry-looking markings on his pelt and they seemed to be glowing bright against the darkness around them. "Who are you? What secrets are down here?" She questioned, but the male didn't answer. Bi-colored silver and lilac gaze simply stared at her, and then he grinned. But it wasn't any sort of normal-looking grin. It was a Cheshire sort of smile, spreading wider and it seemed as if his jaws were parting open so wide that all she could see were bright white teeth set in a mouth bigger than she had ever seen! Her eyes grew wide, and before she knew it, those teeth surged straight for her and she swore she felt like she was being swallowed!

She yelled, but she heard nothing. Silence. She felt like she was falling with no end to it. Spinning out of control down, down, down as if she had dropped into a bottomless pit...

And outside of the hallucinations? Her companions had managed to drag her back through the caverns and closer to the entrance once they realized what was happening. Though they themselves had become affected, not as strong as their canine companion...still, they fought against the insanity to bring her back to fresh air, the trio lying on the ground just outside the mouth of the cave and letting the fresh air wash over them...
"Medusa"

Please note: Medusa is a wildcard! While she is mostly kind, friendly, and eager to help, she can equally be cold, aggressive, and eager to murder you depending on how you treat her! She refers to herself and often, others, in the third person (illeism), and occasionally has tics due to her Tourette's and may giggle and laugh at random, and may twitch here and there. She is a blood & gore type of character, and is not above killing, maiming, or other such violent actions if she's given a reason to do so. It's often in your best interest to not cross her or get on her bad side. Ya never know what she might do c:
