What A Beautiful Mess

Days had passed since her and Quelt's encounter. And in those days the gods would reveal a plan that she was still uncomfortable with. Being a mother was something she never desired to become; however, she was now positive she was pregnant. There was no changing the cards she had been dealt, cards in which were permanent. Ah, but if she could - she would have. Though, a part of her knew that the life she lived would eventually lead to this. She worried about her ability to fulfill her role as her king's lead warrior with pups tagging along. It annoyed her. It absolutely annoyed her. And even though she had this attachment to Quelt, she was pretty angry at the man and he was not about to get out of the situation he helped create. Quelt had been hanging near Abaven's borders lately and she hoped that he would be nearby now. She searched for him, anger painting her face as she did so. Ears were pinned in annoyance. She plopped down on her haunches when she reached the cavern's borders. Traveling even short distances now seemed to be a chore. Ah, how useless of a warrior she was, now! A low growl rippled through her throat, stomach twinged a bit and she found herself vomiting. She rose to her feet and quickly backed away in disgust. Quelt! She would yell for the man, a bit of anger in her tone. Oh yes, he was in for it. my actions | my words | my thoughts |
