Long Time Coming

Ash had been coming out of her shell more as the days went on, but she was still struggling with what should have been no effort to leave the castle walls. She had made a couple trips with Bowen and Artorias, but never alone. She was definitely more comfortable with them accompanying her but it was always in the back of her mind what wrongs could be done. She couldn't be sure if her captors had even moved on, or if they were waiting for the right opportunity to strike. She'd hate to see her family get hurt because of it, because of her.

She made the real effort to find her way into the infirmary to meet her sister who she hadn't actually had the one on one time with outside of her recovery from returning to The Hallows. It was sad to her to think she was keeping herself locked away somewhere, because her family meant everything to her. Finding Gwyn among one of the rooms her presence was already well known by the clipping of her claws on the stone surface of the halls but she still let out a quiet, "Hey." Always a gentle and welcoming smile. "I just came by to see if you wanted any help with the tinctures, or tidying up around here." She had learned a thing or two from her time away from home, but really she was just here to be with Gwyn.
