She wanted to be a sufficient leader. Maybe not always the best one, but one that her followers would be proud of. And she knew that meant consistently checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Not wanting to keep everyone on a tight leash, Celeste didn't often keep close tabs on everyone. Getting together would be her way of checking in and allowing her wolves to have a moment to speak. Plus, she had something she wanted to announce! So with her companion in tow, the two of them gathered snacks and drinks and plenty of lush pillows in the main community area of the underground warrens. Away from the beat of the sun, even if the temperatures had cooled off, she wanted to make sure everyone was comfortable. Once everything was laid out, she took her own snack and beverage before settling down onto a pillow. "Please see that everyone knows I'd like their presence," she speaks to her companion, a paw shooing him away to find everyone. Getting comfortable herself, she took a sip of her drink while she waited. |

Had he been settling in particularly well? Sort of. Viðarr was filled with internal complaints about the heat, even though it was clear that winter was on the way. Night was far more comfortable than the day, and he was able to seek some refuge in the cooler temperatures. The desert had a lot to offer them, and the strategic location of the Oasis was one he couldn't argue. Still, it was hot out here. Hot, and something he certainly wasn't used to. It was certainly a blow to his overall stamina. Still, the shadow would adjust in time. All in good time? All in good time. He could hope, at least. Viðarr could certainly hope.
The cat had come, beckoning them all to a meeting. At least it was evening, away from the heat of the sun. Viðarr could appreciate that. He approached with a simple nod to Celeste, taking a carefully chosen seat. Off to the farthest edge, where he could keep an eye on everyone and everything, at all times. He'd take his position seriously, that was for certain.
"Viðarr"

This character is unstable. Blanket TW for mental health themes applies to all posts.
Víðarr has two Karelian bear dogs and a white morph tawny owl. Assume they're within calling distance unless otherwise stated.
Víðarr speaks with a dense Swedish accent.

A meeting. Historically, she hadn't really been a fan, but it wasn't like she could really object. The cat had come around to summon them all, and it looked like she needed to actually... attend. Grace them with her presence. Something like that. The wraith climbed to her feet, moving in the direction of the communal space within the warrens. She'd make an effort to be around more... to be around at all. It felt weird, but it wasn't like she could really object either. Fashionably late, she arrived at the meeting and settled on her haunches. She inclined her head to Celeste before taking in the rest of the pack. Who the hell was that, her gaze resting for just a moment on the large, strange man that had joined them. A bit more plain than even Cy was used to seeing, despite her own lack of finery. He seemed to stand tall, like he already had some sort of authority. What a fucken weirdo. Well, hopefully she hadn't missed the announcement. Not yet at least. cyanide he said to be cool but i'm already coolest |
