With his ancestral home mostly occupied by a large and rowdy pack, the titan had taken to wandering more and more. Which was how they had ended up here, standing atop the wreckage of an ancient vessel. The warped floorboards were cool and rough beneath their heavy paws, and the wind that had begun to pick up was buffeting their coat ruthlessly. A storm was rolling in, the first one of the season if they remembered right. Better to shelter here and wait it out. Plodding aimlessly through the empty halls, there was the lingering undercurrent of scent markers all over the place. This had been home to many wolves over its lifetime, that much was obvious. Monochrome form standing in stark contrast to the warm hues of rust and decaying wood, they lumbered deeper and deeper into the old ship. If only they'd thought to bring some crafting materials along, then perhaps they could weather the storm with some entertainment. Instead, exploring the old vessel would have to do to pass the time. Perhaps someone else was around, and they could entertain each other? The creaking and shifting of the metal hull seemed to fall in line with the battering of the blizzard that was ramping up its intensity, rather than the sounds that might come from another creature roaming its halls listlessly. Massive cranium butted up against a door left ajar, forcing it open so they could peer inside. There was a window, its glass pane smudged and scratched but still intact, set into the far wall. Even if there was something to see beyond it, they wouldn't have been able to for the wall of driving snow that whizzed past. At least there was no shortage of bedding around, if he decided to sleep through the storm..

Lurid found herself coming to love the cave-like belly of this metal beast, obsessed with finding every detail of the ship from stern to bow. The way the breeze flew through draft holes and doors made it possible to scent when someone was encroaching on what would be her territory one day, and the older wolf was ready when the male came into her room. The monster lay in the darkness, blending into covers and furs that made up the beds that surrounded her, staying silent and watching him as he peered through her window. Her brows furrowed with intense focus as her holographic lavender eyes peered through the dark, scarred visage even more beautiful with the focus in her gaze. "You know you aren't alone in this storm, correct?" Her dual-toned vocals echoed in the small space, and she waited to see if he would react.

From somewhere in the shadows of the room, likely under the piles of bedding that were stuffed into corners and nooks, a low feminine voice. The titan grunted with belated surprise, mottled gunmetal gaze shifting towards the source of the voice until he thought they saw the yellow reflection of light against canine optics from the far side of the room. They took a half step into the room, flashing a lopsided smile in that direction. They offered a dip of their head, a slow and measured movement of apology. "Sorry, ma'am. Didn't mean to intrude," they rumbled, a deep baritone from a solidly built chest. "Didn't realize anyone was home." they added, lifting their gaze again to try and pinpoint the form of the fae who lingered just out of sight. "I can head further up to the deck to wait it out, if you'd prefer." the monochrome giant offered with a backwards flick of the ear, flashing a pale spot along its back not unlike that of a tiger. Already they were retreating from the doorway, their massive and imposing frame disappearing behind the wooden frame inch by inch. Invading someone's home during a storm was a dangerous place to be, after all.

The grunt of surprise that the male issued gave the demon a sense of pride, making her crystalline coat fluff up just a bit, like a bird puffing its feathers. Slowly the ivory devil unfurled herself and slipped from her blanketed bed, the sweet scent of her predatory nature permeating the room. Dual-toned vocals once again slid from dulcet lips to offer the male some sort of relief from the storm. "You can stay in here...for a price." She gave a soft smile once she got close enough to actually see the male, for that's how she saw him. "Nothing extravagant of course, and it will benefit the both of us." The devil wasn't bashful, but she did wonder if the male would accept her proposal, so she waited until he responded before offering warmth to a stranger.
