Romping n roaming

Kip had evaded his overprotective sister's gaze and was running about the castle, exploring the various rooms, bounding through the garden, and whacking at various leaves on trees in a game of ‘how high can you jump’.  The pup was a mix of grey dark grey on light grey though the most noticeable feature would be only three legs, with the back one missing.  It didn’t seem to limit his energy or slow him down at all as he enjoyed himself.

The boy was determined to be a great fighter and hunter and he didn’t care what anyone else thought of his goals.  For the moment though, his great hunt became spotting a large squat bug with a funny-looking horn jutting upwards on his head.  The ‘hunt’ quickly turned into more of a fight.  The beetle had fallen off the branch but instead of scuttling away it was standing its ground and moving its horny head about when Kip moved to swat it.  Kip imagined he could easily smash it but it was kind of fun toying with the brave bug.
