My Sister, DaVinci

While she had never been to her eldest siblings' den, she was vaguely aware of where she could find it. Or at the very least, the general direction to travel in. It was located a fair distance away, from what she understood. Secluded in a part of the mountain where no one else seemed to be around. Worst case scenario, if she had difficulty, she was confident in her ability to retrace her steps home. Had she taken the time to ask for an escort, she was sure she could have found one. But that would also eliminate the sense of independence this small adventure was going to bring.
There were a couple of times the scarlet-shadowed girl debated turning around, and returning to more familiar territory. She felt that she had been wandering the mountainside for an unnecessary amount of time. But when the open mouth of a den finally came into sight, she was quite pleased- thrilled in her success. Mariah admired the solitude that was lended in its isolation. Perhaps she would have to make an effort to come to visit her siblings more frequently. In a quiet procession, Mariah found her way to the threshold, hesitating at its entrance before clearing her throat to speak. "Avacyn?" the girl asked lightly, hoping to hear an invitation from deeper inside.

Avacyn moved about the space that was slowly shaping up to be her new workshop. It was something that she had made a point of finding a good space for when she and Saracyn decided to move out of their parent's den. She had long had a corner of that cave that was dedicated to her projects and crafts, but it had only been an alcove. This was a small cavern just dedicated to her projects and she couldn't have been more thrilled. This interwoven series of caves was certainly more space than they need right this very moment with it just being the two of them, but she was planning ahead for the future. She was still hopeful that her relationship with Albion would continue to bloom and he would eventually join her here and of course she had to plan for any children that they might have as well. But, for now, she could dedicate some time to making this workshop everything she wanted it to be and give everything a proper home.
She was just working on organizing some supplies on a series of shelves that lined one wall when she heard a voice calling for her from the direction of the entrance. Avacyn's white rimmed ears perked at the voice and she turned to trot out of the workshop and into the long corridor that led from the cave's entrance. There, silhouetted in the incoming sunlight, was her youngest sister. Avacyn grinned and she made her way toward the entrance to greet her little guest. "Mariah! This is a surprise," she said warmly as she approached, giving a quick glance behind the girl cloaked in deep reds and blacks to see if anyone else was behind her. "Did you come all the way out here on your own?" she questioned with surprise, bringing her dark gaze back down to meet Mariah's curiously. She and Saracyn had admittedly put a bit of distance between themselves and their family den, but the seclusion and privacy was something they enjoyed given how very much in the eye of the pack she was during the day. It was impressive that her little sister had managed to make it all the way out here and find their den on her own.
