Fia had been growing into herself that came with age. She was still a little lengthy but as what felt like was in her blood she was growing into a fine young woman in due time. And confidence was never lacking with her, that probably came from her parents too.

And with age came more uncharted and unexplored feelings, that being difficult considering she hadn't attempted to make any meaningful relationships inside the pack. She focused only on her older brother and sister, and her parents were just that obvious constant in her life. She'd soon forget about anyone else who lived here.

She had sought out to find Avacyn today while she had felt like it had been a while since they spent any true time together. She still helped her with crafts and other tasks from time to time, but otherwise stuck to herself on the mountain ranges of the island. She found her around the lake, maybe looking for supplies or maybe just taking a walk which was usual for Fia herself. She gave her sister a quiet smile, silent at first but then questioning, "I hope I'm not bothering you." It was a bit joking and also genuine, though she had never felt like she was pestering her sister before.

"Fiametta"

Though the pack's borders did not have any direct neighbors and the next closest pack was one of their allies, Avacyn had continued on with the plans they had all made before they had expanded their territory to reinforce their defenses. It was a project she had been too invested in before the fall of their former neighbor to back out of half way. Besides, more defenses and more substantial patrols surely couldn't be a bad thing. That brought her out to the edges of their territory fairly often as she checked on the guard posts she had built and followed up on their patrol routes to make sure the Predators of the pack were following their assigned schedules and routes. With the pack and everything her mother had built already being pre-prepared for her, this was one thing she felt confident in being able to say that she had majorly impacted herself and that felt like something she could be proud of.

She was just finishing up one of her routine checks of the perimeter and was taking a more leisurely path back toward the island when she spotted the familiar red-hued form of her sister approaching her. With her attention seemingly always getting pulled in different directions she didn't often have a ton of time to spend with her siblings besides Saracyn, which was something she certainly hoped would change one of these days. Right now she was so focused on preparing to follow in their mother's paw steps that she left little time for anything else. Maybe one day when she was more confident in her place in their family's structure of power then she'd feel more comfortable taking more time for herself. She gave Fia a smile as her younger sister fell in beside her and she was quick to give a little shake of her head to her statement about hoping that she wasn't bothering her. "Spending time with you is way more enjoyable than patrols and border checks," she insisted with a chuckle.

She was glad her sister wasn't bothered by her presence, but she didn't expect her to be either. She had known Sara gave a lot more of a harsh and cold shoulder usually, and Fia felt the same way to their now younger siblings. She felt a lot more attached to Ava and Sara, regardless of what kind of time she had ever spent with them.

She'd start to walk along with her sister, maybe back towards the island or just around their lands. She had little care for which. She usually just went with the flow in these situations. She had some sort of awkward pause if Ava had caught onto it. Fia had always been pretty open about her thoughts and emotions but that was more because she didn't really have anything big to share about her days. Today would seem to be different.

With the bite of her lip she then went on to say, "Well, I actually wanted to kind of talk to you about something. Sister things I guess." The cliche she supposed. But she did truly feel like she could open up to Ava without any judgement, not that what she had in mind was something worth judging. "I think I kind of like this boy..." Kind of, maybe, she was a little naive to thinking Stolas was just a friend. As she was growing older she was opening her mind to the possibilities, or at least noticing the changes in herself. "I'm not really sure if you'd have any advice or insight." With Albion being an arranged thing, she didn't know if her sister actually had feelings for him or not. And she wasn't exactly in tune with how deep her and Sara's actual relationship was herself.

They were quiet as they continued along this leisurely path around the lake and back toward the island, but Avacyn certainly didn't mind. Spending time with her siblings didn't always have to be an activity or even a conversation. If Fia wanted to just take a walk with her Avacyn wouldn't complain. However, after a few moments she got the feeling that there actually was something that Fia wanted to talk about, her usually very open and blunt sister seeming a bit hesitant. It made her curious and she waited for several moments to see if the younger girl would bring up whatever it was on her own or if she'd need to prompt her. She wasn't someone that would want to force anyone to talk about something that they didn't want to, but considering the fact that Fia had sought her out it made her thing that this really was something she wanted to talk about even if it was uncomfortable.

Luckily she didn't have to debate it for very long since her fire-marked sister did eventually speak up on her own, mentioning that there was something she wanted to talk to her about that was a "sister thing". That got a curious glance from Avacyn and she lifted a brow with a silent question and an obvious curiosity about what the topic could be. It turned out to be a boy that she might like and that pulled a little grin onto Avacyn's lips though she held off on saying anything until Fia wondered if she'd have any advice or insight on the matter. "A boy, huh?" Ava questioned with a little chuckle, turning her gaze back toward the path ahead of them to watch where they were going as she spoke.

Boys were certainly a complicated topic for her in her own situation and all she could really hope for with Fia was that she'd be lucky enough to have a more natural and genuine experience with relationships than she had. It was hard for her to think of specific examples or emotions or experiences with boys to talk about since she couldn't exactly cite her time with Saracyn without giving them away so instead she focused on reaffirming Fiametta's feelings. "Well, why don't you tell me about him? What's he like? What do you like about him?" she questioned, glancing at her occasionally to show she was listening.
