If the pack had not occupied the forest of his birth the young boy would have left it behind long ago, as it stood though it was the closest thing he had to a home, he had even taken up residence in the den he had been born in, now bigger and emptier than he had ever remembered. Still he was less than impressed with the silver woman and her loyal horde, they were not of his blood and therefore not worthy of the respect they seemed to demand. The boy would of course soon learn tact or he?d face the consequences but for now, his interactions with others were limited at best.
The packlands despite their importance to the young boy had begun to bore him and he had wandered beyond them. Rumors were not uncommon within the pack, and with news of some underground caverns popping up after the quake he decided to search for them. He was small, his legs not quite fully grown though he would be a yearling once the seasoned changed, so he was tired once he reached the mouth of the cavern.
For a moment his bravery fled him, the depths of the gaping maw were deep and inky and he shifted nervously. This is ridiculous! He growled snapping himself out of his fear. I am Novocaine Elysius, I am invulnerable. Then he was plunging into the dark, wandering only a little bit before a soft glowing started to illuminate his surroundings. Loamy soil squelched beneath his paws as he continued on, steel blue gaze roving the fungus around him, his jaw hanging open in awe.
He was so distracted he did not notice the familiar female he was quickly approaching. Not until he had bumped into her, just as suddenly he was scrambling backwards, taking on an aggressive stance, not yet registering that the wraith before him was his sister.
Please note: Novocaine is missing his right eye entirely, an empty socket is all that remains in its stead. Not all of his tables reflect that as of yet!
