The day prior had been eventful, a meeting of multiple alphas and a few loner individuals as well. Sol and Khonsu were well on their way to making the meaningful connections that they (or at least Sol) sought, but were no closer to choosing a permanent home to reside in. Next up on the docket was the pack neighbouring Ashen and they made their way there in the early afternoon.
"More plains." Khonsu complained bitterly, maw parting in a tired yawn as they came upon the scent border. Sol gave him a half-hearted glare in reply. "Shush."
Tipping his head back, the cobalt eyed wolf sang a friendly call to one who lived within these lands, making it down that they wished to hear of the pack that resided here. It sure was overwhelming how many places there were to choose from, were they even half-way done yet?
Sol & Khonsu
Their speech will be color coordinated to their eye colors (Sol & Khonsu) to designate the speaker.
They each have a crested caracara companion, and share a marmoset companion.
Unless otherwise stated you can assume their companions are somewhere close by.
Yarrabelle, as their mistress, may enter any of their threads.
They are never seen without their hourglass necklace, assume it is always present hanging below their necks.

He’d just finished setting meat up to smoke when the call came. Lyr had been watching the wall and came winging in with an excited croak as Ardyn trotted across the plains to meet the caller.
“One body, but two heads.”
The raven’s plumage fluffed out as he landed on Ardyn’s back, balancing with practiced ease as Ardyn trotted along. The High King glanced over his shoulder at the raven, brows lifting. “Really? Good to know ahead of time; thanks.”
He’d heard of many fascinating mutations of the body. He’d never met him, but Cairo had spoken of a wolf in the Armada, one of Sirius’ sons, Mortis, who had wings. But he hadn’t heard of a living wolf with two heads. Except in stories of gods and the like.
Still, he was glad Lyr had let him know what to expect, or he might have unintentionally offended the ones waiting at the border.
He stepped into viewing range of the two-headed wolf. Hundreds of questions warred with each other as he observed their features, both natural and extra. Diplomacy, however, took the forefront, and he smiled in greeting as he came to stand before them.

Ardyn at first glance is as black as can be imagined with a raven sheen.
Closer inspection proves that he shimmers in fire tones in every hair on his hide right down to his lashes.
More obviously, he glows like a bed of coals and flames with every movement and brush of fur. His tail is usually wagging, so blazes like a torch.
His adult teeth are in and his saber canines have grown to their full length (see profile). His mane and tail hair have grown to full length, as well as being lightweight and easily buffeted by breezes.
A look at his front paws will give the impression of hands, with his dew claw dropped low and lengthened into a functioning thumb, and his toes elongated into fingers. He has retractable, solid black cat-like claws on every paw.
Ardyn has developed a glowing mast of intricate markings in fire and ice colors over his face, symmetrical over the last seasons of Year 17 (see profile for details). During hunts or raids/sieges, he will smudge them out with black soot to cover the glow, otherwise, they are bright enough to note at first direct glance at his face. Not all his artwork currently portrays the mask markings.
He is also often bedecked in beads, small bells, feathers in blues, ribbons and braids thanks to the Ooze Event of Halloween 2021, and the Coathanger item that he got. The accessories generally are seen most in his mane and tail hair. He removes the brighter items and bells for hunts or battle.
