Well now wasnt he soaked. Yet perhaps Fenix shouldnt have been slightly harassing the beavers near the dam. The man shook off his soaked fur as he pulled himself onto land. Walking away from the dam before catching his breath near a tree. Why had he come here anyway? He hadnt been herb hunting, Fenix narrowed his eyes. Hed been so air headed lately it worried him. Tired he rubbed his fur against the bark of the tree for a moment.

Then finding a sunny spot among the ground the wolf decided a rest would be best. He circled for a moment before settling himself down. Fenix kept his head up to be alert but he crossed his front limbs taking in a deep breath before listening to the world around him.

It wasn't much of a surprise that Nami was lingering near the dam, given her affinity for water and newly-renowned love for the southern continent. Not that this little creek made for the best swimming in the world, but it was water and that always meant something. Currently she wasn't necessarily interested in swimming, but snatching up a few fish right before the dam sounded like a good idea.

It seemed like someone else had a trip to the dam in mind though. A wolf who looked a bit older than her was lying in the grass, sunbathing not far off from the dam. It didn't look like he was overly preoccupied, though she was willing to be wrong about that. She let out a bark to alert him of her presence as she headed his way, her bobbed tail wiggling behind her, excited at the prospect of conversation. "Hi! Afternoon!" Maybe he'd be receptive to conversation, maybe not, but there was only one way to tell.
