I n their ongoing quest to make Mirovis known to the world of Boreas, as well as getting to know more of the other packs that might become their future allies or rivals, Requiem had charted out a list of who they needed to meet and who had already come to greet them at their home. The pack to the far northeast of Boreas was of particular interest to Requiem—it was the pack Alastor had settled in with his new family. Knowing this and realizing how close they were, he understood why the ebon-furred brute had chosen to remain secluded off in his island. It still made him a coward in Requiem's eyes. But there was no avoiding the inevitable, and unless Mirovis wanted to start off with an enemy already living a few short territories away, an attempt for diplomacy had to at least be made. Besides, any chance he got to see Alastor and worm his way underneath the traitor's skin was one he would take and savor.
L eading Lurid from their home eastward along the coast until they reached the boundaries of Elysium's borders, Requiem began to take in their surroundings. The pack had claimed a scenic lake, beautiful and tranquil, and while he assumed their main home was on the island just off the coast, he did not feel like meeting Alastor nor his family quite so deep into their own territory. So he stopped at the borders of the lake, scanning the area before drawing in a deep breath. Yes, Alastor's scent lingered strongly here... A wicked smirk touched the other wolf's lips, already eager to show off how he had usurped Alastor's old life so easily to the traitor. "Would you like to do the honors, love?" he asked Lurid, allowing her to call for the alphas as she was the regent of the empire, after all.

Lurid followed Requiem easily at his side as they made their way eastward, dreading this trip, but trying to make the most of it. Alastor had been at the challenge but had not yet made the short trip over to congratulate her. It had stung at first, to know he had a family and lived without her. She found something better with Requiem, however, and now she could elevate her mate to where he was always meant to be. Still, a hello would have been nice.
They made it to Elysium's border, Requiem asking her to do the honors. Her dual-toned vocals sang out, making it sound almost as if two wolves called out at once, three if Requiem chimed in. "Do you think they will even meet with us?" She asked, wondering if Alastor would probably prefer to avoid them altogether.
